It was just another day, another morning. I of course knew nothing would be excited about this day. It was just the beginning of another boring day of college classes. But little did I know, this day was going to be the start of something great, something new, and something unexpected. Today would be the day I met the Winchesters.
It was early, it had to be earlier than I had meant to awake from my sleepless sorrows. It had been weeks, my nightmares just wouldn't break, and I wished they'd go away, but wishes don't always comes true. I flipped over to look at the clock, it was only 3 o'clock. My first class wasn't going to start for 5 hours. I knew I should probably get some more rest, but I knew that wouldn't happen. So I got up from my bed.
I made my way out of my room, down the hall and into the bathroom. I of course living alone, turn every light on along my path. I was paying the bills around here, right? So why not charge myself a few extra dollars for no apparent reason. I smacked the bathroom light on, then walked over to the sink. I look at myself in the mirror before turning to water on, I looked like complete shit. I was never a fan of make-up, but I felt today might be a day I actually get them out. It had been years since I last used them. I would be grateful I put someone later that day. I splashed some water in my face to wake myself up a bit more, before leaving the bathroom to go put some coffee on.
As I walked through the house, I started to realize today was already beginning to be very odd, I could tell it wasn't going to be a good day. I walked slowly, as I was so damn tired. I finally got to the stairs, I just stared at them. Did I want to walk down them or feel like a kid again and get my pillow and slid down? I in the end walked over to my room grabbed my pillow and blanket, threw them down at the top of the stairs, and slid my ass down the steps. I couldn't help be laugh at myself when I finally got to the bottom, it had been years since I did that. I felt it was necessary to do something fun today. I got up from the bottom of the stairs, leaving everything there, and walked into the kitchen. I threw some coffee in a filter, put water in the machine and started it. It was too early to eat, so I just left the kitchen and went into the living room, maybe something good would be on TV.
I turned the TV on, and it was on TNT. I wasn't really paying attention, I just went straight to the guide to look for something to watch, and the TV was muted, since I was studying last night, but I wanted the TV on. So I unmuted it, and that's when the music started.
"Ghost! Ghostfacers! We face the ghost when others will not. We're Ghost! Ghostfacers! Stay in the kitchen when the kitchen gets hot!"
I just sighed to myself, these guys were pathetic. When a good show was going to finally come on TV, I mean honestly. In that moment I realized, my life was really going know where, I was just that boring college kid, that had no motivation, and I wasn't truly chasing my dreams. Not really knowing what that dream was, actually. I just turned the TV off, and got up and walked back into the kitchen. I started to talk to myself, as I usually did since I really had no friends, not much of a life, and really no one else to talk too.
"When the fuck am I going to find something exciting in my life?" I said to myself.
I was washing the little bit of dishes I had from the night before, I hadn't used much but I figure while I was talking to myself, I might as well do something with my time.
