After the Japan U-20 versus Blue Lock 11 Selection, outstanding players from Blue Lock got tons of random interviews as it was one of the hottest topic worldwide. Some reporters and paparazzis were desperate to know each and every player's uniqueness ;be it knowing what type of food they like, what daily routines they do, what type of secret training they had, even the silliest questions like if they'd be a girl, who in the team would they rather date? Some are getting out of hand by asking how many body counts they have, not that they'd answer anyways.

Most questions were just the expected ones, some were also wholesome, depends on the player getting asked, kind of.

Sitting next to each other during the interview, Itoshi Sae, the prodigy, and Shidou Ryusei, one of the rising stars from Blue Lock, got asked the same question.

"If it were your last day on earth, what would you do?"

Sae sighed and tried not to cringe but failed expensively as he reached for the tiny mic holder, he leaned closer,"I would make the world's best pass to the world's best striker"

Clapping, almost mockingly chuckled, Shidou Ryusei held his own mic as the media waited for his turn to answer the same question. He thought, as expected of the prodigy underlashes senior.

Everyone stopped clapping so they could hear Shidou's answer, expecting it to sound egoistical like the other players.

Shidou just chuckled without a care in the world, well he never really cared so he just came up with whatever comes to mind first, "I would watch it end"

Shidou Ryusei had a nostalgic dream. It has been three days since the Selection and he had been having hard time to sleep from then on. One big reason for his sudden insomniac state is Itoshi Sae. Ryusei got up from his bed, went to the huge window and watch the city lights from his room. He lived on the 20th floor.

Shidou really hates it when he had to use his head too much for thinking about other people. Yet, surprisingly, he just couldn't get Sae out of his head. He clutched the back of his scalp as if trying to scold himself for acting pathetic again. His brain is arguing with his heart, "He's changed. Sae's changed. Why can't you fucking get it?"

Shidou tried to discourage himself so many times yet again his mind was filled with "useless" thoughts again.

The magnificent city lights reflected on Shidou's glistening eyes that if it weren't for the reflection on his window glass, he wouldn't even notice that there ware small pools of tears ready to leak down.

Shidou chuckled in disbelief as he covered his eyes with his palm, shaking his head in amusement, "The fuck?"

He thought, I wonder what Sae-chan felt when he left everything behind to chase his dreams on the other side of the world? What did he felt when he left home-When he left me? Was I even part of the picture to begin with?

I didn't know back then, Sae-chan. The things you silently did for me. I didn't know it all.

How come we've drifted apart this far?

Shidou went out to the terrace and grabbed the equipment he never thought he'd be interested in--a Telescope.

Shidou leaned down to the telescope's eyepiece, his mouth twitched, "Orion-za* is really visible throughout the world. He must have thought of me while he was in Spain at least once, right? Unless he stopped looking at the stars"

"If it were your last day on earth, what would you do?"

Shidou didn't know why the interview's question kept playing in his head as if the answer he gave at the conference wasn't the real one.

Shidou Ryusei had a nostalgic dream. That dream was he and Sae watching the world end with meteorites showering above them. In the dream, Sae smiled at him purely like he used to back then. Shidou never wanted to wake up. The Sae in his dream smiles a lot and he was gentler. He also looked happier having "his little demon" with him.

"I don't really care about everyone else except my family and Ryu" Sae said to him in his dreams.

Shidou's head throbbed. The tears that he tried to stop earlier betrayed him and they fell down like rapids. Shidou just stared at the now blurred city lights.

He looked at his phone and texted the number that he worked really hard to get. Itoshi Sae is really unreachable now. Shidou didn't even know where he got the confidence and mentality to talk with the prodigy as if it was their first time meeting.

During the match, Shidou shamelessly kept pestering Sae and made a bet with him. If he scores two goals, which he did, he'd get his number. And if he'd get more than that, which he didn't, for the record, he'd get to live in with him.

When Sae left Japan, Shidou lost contact with him and he knew Sae would not even spare a glance with an unknown message from a single unknown number out of all the millions of stalker numbers attacking his privacy.

Now that Shidou got his number, he sent the message and never looked at his phone again. He was sure that he'd never get a reply anyways. Just like the old days.

He knew Sae's changed but the fact that Sae never replies to him back in the days, he hates to admit that Sae's not changed, maybe. Plus, it's really hard to make Sae smile.

To: Itoshi Sae
I miss you. Like a lot. >3<

Itoshi Sae is the strict and meticulous type when it comes to self discipline and life balance. He is doing yoga when he felt his phone light up from his peripheral view. Sae's manager knew his schedule and he is fully aware that Sae is doing something important such as yoga during this hour. So, Sae knew his manager would never disturb him at this hour unless it's urgent or really important.

He stood up and walked towards the table to check only to see an unregistered number sending him a text. He was not planning to open it but he suddenly felt like he had to. He let his gut feeling win.

From: xxxxx
I miss you. Like a lot. >3<

Sae gulped the lump inside his throat and prepared one of his preferred drink which is salted kombucha for a calm and relaxing night.

After preparing his drink, he looked at the sea from a very far through his window. He lives on the 45th floor of A******* Hills in Tokyo.

Itoshi Sae unconsciously looked up at the night sky and frowned when he recognized a certain constellation: the Orion-za* (Orion)

He thought, even in Spain, I kept seeing this Orion-za thing.

He looked at at the message again and drank another gulp of his drink, "Shameless antennae bastard insect horny little demon"

After lowly spouting such words, Itoshi Sae found himself frowning and struggled to go back to his yoga session.

His only purpose of coming back to Japan is to renew his passport. After that offer of playing for Japan U-20, he will go back to Spain and continue his dream. He didn't suggest to let the violent Shidou Ryusei out from confinement because they used to know each other before. He requested to play alongside him because he saw a potential. He also never expected that Shidou would come up to him and talk to him casually given what happened and what he did to him in the past.

For the reason why Sae gave his number to Shidou easily, it was only because he lost to their bet and nothing else.

There was no other motive. Not at all. Sae was sure about it. Not like he thought that Shidou Ryusei would go so far as chasing him as going to Spain anyway.

Why did he even thought of Shidou Ryusei following him to Spain? Like he had an idea. It's not one of his what ifs or anything. It just slipped in his mind.

It's not a big deal.
