The company told the public that Jake was on hiatus.

This was not true.

The company made everyone else continue working.

It was torture.

Sunghoon felt like he couldn't go on. It was obvious to the fans he was sad about something.

Sunghoon couldn't sleep. Anytime he closed his eyes he saw him. He saw the man he thought he would spend his future with.

He started to blame himself, trying to find out what went wrong. He was angry with himself for not noticing. He decided to look through Jake's room.

He found a diary. It was full of short entries. Short entries by Jake

January 21st 2024,

Dear Diary,

Everyone thinks I'm dating Chuu. It's all because I helped her pick up the flowers she dropped. The hate online is a lot. People are saying I should die. Should I?

January 25th 2024,

Dear Diary,

I was thinking about it, what if Sunghoon believes the rumour, the mere thought made me do something horrible to myself. It felt like I deserved the pain. The company is also angry at me. They said I'm not doing my job right. They threatened to terminate my contract. Am I a good idol?  It feels like I haven't eaten in months as well. I'm just being stupid anyway, the fans said that I'm gaining weight. I had an orange anyway.

January 31st 2024,

Dear diary,

I know it might seem weak but I don't think I can do it anymore, I have been dizzy and stumbling, people are saying I am useless. I probably am, any way this will be my last diary entry, I wont see you again Mr diary hehe.

The last diary entry was a weak before he died. Sunghoon should have noticed the younger's pain shouldn't he, but he didn't and now he was left regretting not taking care of Jake.

Sunghoon began to worry fans, The company started to get annoyed with him. Sunghoon quit the industry completely in the end. He decided to do something less in the eye of the public.

He spent everyday missing his lover, Jake.
