The rest of the week flew by like a jet. The losers finished all of their freshman finals, bowers failed four classes and had to attend an assembly meeting that talked about failing classes in front of the whole school. The losers laughed at him the whole time.

Richie having straight A's was the biggest shock of them all. Expecting Richie to have a few C's was logical, but all A's was crazy considering he had two F's the week before. After the school day was finished, the losers met up and got on their bikes. They all went home, grabbing their things for their sleepover at Bills house.

Richie walked into his house, Maggie (his mom) was draped over the couch, and Wentworth was in the kitchen. He followed Richie up to his room, "Where are you off to in such a hurry?"

"Sleepover at Bills. His mom and dad said it would be nice for him to have some friends over this weekend. Did you get my report card yet?"

"No! Will I be disappointed?" His dad stood in the doorway, watching Richie pack his bag. Richie glanced at him and exhaled, "Nope. Straight A's again, dad." His dad smiled and walked over to him, patting him on the back then walking back out.

Richie hurried to grab the rest of his things then went down the stairs, "Dad, I need mom to pick up my other pair of glasses." Wentworth looked at him confused and upset, "What's wrong with that pair?"

"Some kid pushed me and broke one of the lenses on the other pair so this is my backup pair. I just need the other pair as a back up." Richie placed his bag down by the door, then ran to the pile of blankets on the table in the living room and grabbed one, "You think you could drive me? I have a lot of stuff and it's hard to bike with all of it."

"How are you getting home tomorrow? I'm not picking you up." Wentworth put down an open bear bottle. Richie rolled his eyes, "Is that your's?"

"No it's Maggie's, you didn't answer my question." Richie through the blanket onto his bag and rolled his eyes, "Eddie's mom maybe?" Wentworth's eyes turned cold and he spoke under his breath, "Are all of your gay friends going to be there?"

"Are you fucking serious? Fine I'll just bike there! If I fall and die it's one you!" Richie opened ghetto door. He dad stoped him from leaving, grabbing him by the wrist and kicking the door shut, "Who the Fuck are you talking to like that?"

Richie froze. He began to shake in pain from his wrist and struggled to brake free of his father's grip. He took off his glasses and looked down to the floor as his father slapped him hard in the face twice, once for each side.

"Find your own way there! I'm not going to drive a spoiled brat!" Richie's eyes watered up. Wentworth finally let go of Richie's wrist as he pushed him into the door. Maggie slept through the whole thing.
