Lost In Istanbul.

The bustling streets of Istanbul were alive with energy as Ferdi navigated his way through the narrow alleys, his cap pulled low over his face. Depsite his fame as a footballer for Fenerbahçe, he loved blending into the crowd, enjoying the city's vibrancy unnoticed. Today, he had a rare day off, and he planned to spend it with his girlfriend, Y/n. They had agrees to meet at a small, cozy bookstore tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. Y/n had a passion for literature, and she had introduced Ferdi to the world of books, a welcome escape from the pressures of his football career. As he approached the bookstore, Ferdi spotted Y/n through the window, already engrossed in a book. Her concentration made him smile. He pushed open the door, the bell jingling softly, and she looked up, her face lighting up with a smile.

"Hey there, stranger." She greeted, closing her book and standing up to give him a warm hug. "Hey yourself," Ferdi replied, feeling the tension of the week melt away in her presence. "Find anything interesting?" Y/n nodded, her eyes sparkling. "Always. But today I want to show you something special."

She led him to a section at the back of the store, where the shelves were filled with old, leather-bound books. She pulled out a beautifully illustrated volume of Turkish poetry and handed it to him. "I thought you might like this," she said. "It's full of poems about Istanbul. It's easy to understand, perfect for you." Ferdi flipped through the pages, admiring the intricate artwork and the heartfelt words. "It's perfect,Y/n. Thank you. You always know what I would like the best."

They spent the next hours browsing the shelves, chatting quietly about the books they found and their plans for the future. It was a simple, peaceful moment, far removed from the chaos of Ferdis usual life. After purchasing the poetry book, they left the bookstore and wandered through the nearby park. The sun was beginning to set, casting a golden glow over the city. They found a bench overlooking the Bosphorus and sat down, taking in the view.
"You know," Y/n began, "I have been thinking about what you said the other day, about needing a balance between football and the rest of your life." Ferdi nodded, looking out at the shimmering water. "Yeah, it's hard sometimes. The pressure, the expectations...It can get overwhelming." Y/n took his hand, her touch grounding him. "I want you to know that Im here for you, Ferdi. Whenever you need to escape, Im here. We can explore the city, read books, just be together." He turned to her, gratitude in his eyes. "You have no idea how much that means to me, Y/n. You keep me sane."

They sat in comfortable silence for a while, the sounds of the city a soothing backdrop. Y/n leaned her head on Ferdis shoulder, and he wrapped his arm around her, feeling a deep sense of contentment. As the first stars began to twinkle in the evening sky, Ferdi took a deep breath, savoring in the moment. "You know, I think we should do this more often. Just lose ourselves in the city, away from everything." His girlfriend smiled. "I would like that. There is so much more of Istanbul to explore." Ferdi nodded, a new sense of determination filling him. "And we will explore it together."

With that promise, they stood up and began their walk back, hand in hand, ready to face whatever challenges came their way, knowing they had each other and the beautiful city called Istanbul as their refuge.
