*Nick POV*

As I stare at the "Slytherin boys" only half listening to the teacher in front. Well until I hear this, "Class. As this next experiment. Will take longer than normal. You will be in pairs. That I will be picking." God dammit Snape really?!?! I always do everything in pairs. Especially if I have to work with the Slytherin boys in here.

Or Gryffindor and I have a feeling I won't get to work with my brother in here. I listen intently on the pairings, "Draco Malfoy, with Nicolas Maple." God dammit of course, well let's hope I can do it by myself. I headed over to Draco's cauldron, looking down hopefully not making too much eye contact.  I grabbed the book from my arm and started reading the directions.

The boys decided it was best to spit the work in half, while Malfoy did all the preparation Maple did the pouring and stirring. Surprisingly enough to the both of them they work well together. By the end of the period the were the most ahead. Malfoy however did not appreciate how Maple didn't look at him, he thought it was very rude.

Malfoy decided he had finally had enough, by lunch. He left his table without a word to his friend, and walked over to the Hufflepuff table. "Maple, follow. We will be the first ones to finish this project. Come." Maple looked up at Malfoy very shocked and scrambled over to the Slytherin table.

Their wasn't any spots, across from him so Maple sat down right next to Malfoy. That's when he started to hear mumbling, of course from the two most intimidating guys. The Riddle brothers. Mattheo mumbled over to his brother Tom. "What is a Hufflepuff doing here?" Tom mumbled back at him, "a half blood no less."

Maple attempted to ignore them and just work with Malfoy. Well until.... "So Maple what's it like being a half blood?" Maple looked at Mattheo and mumbled his answer. "I mean it's fine." He then immediately turned back to Malfoy and started working again. The tips of his bangs slightly stabbing him in the eyes.

Ya know sometimes Nick loves his wolf cut, but other times he hates it. This is one of the reasons why, he loves the look of it though it makes him look hot. He continues to work with Malfoy attempting to ignore the snide comments from the two brothers. But what he really didn't notice was how Mattheo would constantly sneak glances at him. Mattheo didn't notice how he did either, but he did notice how he loved to see that embarrassed flush in his checks. He found it entertaining to watch him stiffen up and flush.

So he'd keep pushing just the right buttons, he was able to do it till the end of lunch. Right before he could push the last button Nick left to the speed of light. He looked over at Malfoy who was glaring at him. "What?" "Really? Come on man, make fun of him all you want on your time but not on mine." With that Malfoy grumbled off, and Mattheo just rolled his eyes and shrugged at him.

*Mattheo POV*

I dont know what Malfoy's deal is, I was just having fun with the half blood boy. It was funny watching that faggot blush. It was easy to, I didn't have to do much to make him blush. Just a comment here and there or a small look or glare and he'd look down embarrassed. It's one of my new favorite things. After Herbology I felt a tiny touch, a tiny brush against my arm. Oh look it's the adorable faggot now. Wait what? Anyways. "Watch where you're going faggot!" He immediately went red and apologized quickly. "I'm sorry Mattheo I didn't mean to sorry."

I cringed at hearing my first name, "I think you need to learn some respect half blood." I shoved him against the wall. Hard. I don't care to notice how much his head is bleeding until I heard a tiny whimper. I glanced back at him and he's holding his head while crying. I almost feel bad. Almost. That's until I see the dumb "golden trio" and Longbottom rush around him. I think now's the time I go. So I walk quickly to my next class, and pretend I didn't do anything to him.

*3rd person POV*

Thankfully Nick was ok and he was able to go to his last lesson, he just had to make sure to get plenty of rest tonight. So even though he really didn't want to in dinner after a few bites that wouldn't make him sick; he headed over to the Slytherin table. This time there was a spot across from Malfoy so he sat down as quickly and quietly as possible. Malfoy had already seen him so he started grabbing the last bit of their assignment that's not in the classroom.

This time Nick was sitting next to Blaise Zabini, instead of Mattheo Blaise was the calmest of the group. During the last few minute of work Blaise addressed Nick. "Woah dude you ok? It looks like there's blood in your hair." At that every one turned towards Nick including Mattheo, making him get a slight blush. "Uh. Yeah yeah I'm ok. I just tripped and hit my head on one of the pillars."

Everyone else nodded their heads and went back to whatever, except for Mattheo, Blaise, and Draco. "Oh. So you're a clumsy half blood then. How are you a half blood again? Wasn't it your bitch of a mother sleeping with a muggle? After she had your brother right?" Nick clenched his jaw and mumbled something under his breath.

"Huh? What was that halfty?"  Nick this time slammed his hands on the table. "I said SHUT UP MATTHEO! Just because you and your brother are pure bloods doesn't mean you have any power over anyone!" Nick grabbed his stuff and shoved it into his bag. "Sorry Draco I'll finish the rest of my part tonight. See you tomorrow."

He then stormed off back to his table. After a brief pause the Riddle brothers started dying laughing. "That was adorable actually!" Mattheo called out. "It was like a little baby throwing a fit!" His brother laughed in agreement. They only came back to themselves after both receiving a slap on the back of the head. When they turned around they saw Draco and Blaise behind them glaring at them.

The boys smiled sheepishly at them. Draco was always the verbal scolder while Blaise was the quiet one who doesn't have to say anything to get the point across. No one knew which was worse. The boys got a scolding of a lifetime that day. Meanwhile Mattheo couldn't stop thinking about Nick. And not in the ways he wanted to.
