Creation Furnace
Everything turned from worst to disaster for the heroes. Why? First, the Creation Furnace was coiled by the Ambrosial Arbor's roots, and now they had to deal with a vegetized dark deer, known as the Abundant Ebon Deer.
Needless to say, that deer would stop at nothing to prevent Conrad's group from releasing the Creation Furnace. The trio drew their respective weapons while Artoo stood beside Master Gongshu and Tingyun for their safety. Both had mixed opinions regarding this monstrosity...
Master Gongshu: ...Wh—What kind of monster is this?
Tingyun: ...Miraculous, it creates life at will. Such incredible power...
Master Gongshu was frightened at the appearance of the Ebon Deer! Yet, the foxian amicassidor was fascinated by it... Artoo noticed the unusual behavior just now but kept it quiet until then.
Conrad: What the hell is that thing?!
Pyra: This creature is called the Abundant Ebon Deer. A spiritual beast that was destroyed in the ancient wars.
Welt: It's guarding the Ambrosial Arbor's roots and the furnace.
R2: *beeping and whistling "Does it still have a grudge against the Jedi?"*
Pyra: It's very likely, Artoo! The Jedi sought to end the curse of the Ambrosial Arbor in Luofu, which led to their alliance with Lan!
R2: *beeping and whistling*
Conrad: Yep. I'm pretty sure that deer hates me, too.
It was quite evident for the fact the Ebon Deer held an ancient grudge against the Jedi Order. It was no different when it snorted spitefully at the young Skywalker, who grasped the Aegis Blade in his hands.
Welt: Everyone, brace yourselves!
The Ebon Deer charged its antlers against the trio, whom they quickly split up to cover the flanks. Conrad defensively braced against the Ebon Deer's antlers with the red Aegis Blade, followed up with a kick that staggered the deer away, and soon leaped up and cleaved the flaming blade at the beast.
Ebon Deer: *roar*
The Ebon Deer winced in pain before it recovered, and tried to attack the Jedi. Thankfully, Welt intercepted it with his long-range slashes from a simple swing of his cane.
Conrad: Yep! IT DOES HATE ME!!!
Pyra: !? The Ebon Deer is summoning its roots!
The Aegis' worry came true. They saw the Ebon Deer summoned the Ambrosial Arbor branches: Wind, Lightning, and Healer. These branches launched a mix of wind and lightning attacks, at the trio - forcing them to go evasive and defensive maneuvers.
Pyra deflected the lightning attacks with the Skywalker Lightsaber that her Driver lent to her. She pushed back against a bolt of powerful lightning and performed fast, agile swings on each branches, destroying them into dusts.
Next, she saw Conrad face against the Ebon Deer with her blade as he delivered a couple of swings that dealt burn damage to the beast.
Pyra: Conrad! The Ebon Deer's weaknesses are fire, ice, and quantum! Use my sword to cut down the Ebon Deer!
Conrad: *smirk* Easier said than done! Let's light this deer a new one!
The Jedi Knight raised his blade as his grip tightened, igniting the Aegis Blade even more. He delivered a powerful cross-slash against the Ebon Deer, followed up with a powerful flaming thrust, injuring it.
Conrad: Welt!
Welt: *nods* I know!
They swapped places as they gave each other a high five as a signal. It was Welt's turn as he swung his cane thrice, dealing powerful gravitational slashes against the Ebon Deer. While Conrad cut down the roots to prevent any of them from distracting his teammates.
