Aphmau arrives at the port of Phoenix Drop with the medicine needed to save Garroth. She hadn't realized she spent so much time helping the wolves and saving the Lord of Bright Port that she worried she may be too late. She shook the thought from her head as she saw Brendan, the farmer at Phoenix Drop. Though from the looks of it, he never really seemed like he worked on a farm. No one was going to actually say that to him though. She approached him and immediately he said, "Thank the heavens! You're finally back. Garroth lies on death's door." He would say before he looked at the boat and then back at her. "Where's the Lord of Bright Port?" He asked.

Aphmau shook her head, "I didn't bring him, but he did give me this magic healing potion. It should be just as good." She replied and Brendan nodded. "Better than nothing. Take it to Garroth." He said and Aphmau complied, quickly rushing to the home that Garroth was practically dying in.

Hopefully he isn't in too much pain. Aphmau couldn't help but also worry for the wellbeing of her pets, Thorgi and Meowki. When she entered the home, the first person she noticed was the unfamiliar guard like person standing beside Garroth. Did one of the guards get new armour? She couldn't focus on that though.

She moves to Garroth's side and gave him the healing potion. Garroth would almost immediately wake up. He blinked a few times, turning his head side to side as he began asking questions. "Wh....Where am... Where am I...? W-where's Zenix!!?" He took a look at the guard beside him and seemed even more surprised than before. "Y/n...? Wh-what are you.... doing here...?" Aphmau was surprised to know that Garroth knew the guard but felt reassured to know it wasn't just a random nobody, though she shouldn't be surprised. Kiki is here, so she must know this Y/n.

The guard would take off their helmet, it was you. You grabbed Garroth's hand softly, "Calm down. Why I am here isn't important. Try your best to tell Lady Aphmau, what happened to you." Aphmau nodded as further encouragement and Garroth would nod.

He'd begin recalling what he could. "What happened..." He muttered, most to himself and his own thoughts. "Me and Zenix... We were investigating a suspicious door that... that I suspected might have been the hideout to the man who shot Brendan.... but... when I went to the door the next thing, I knew... I was shot in the chest with an arrow." He paused as his hand moved to touch his head, but he seemed to forget he was wearing a helmet. He continued, "Zenix said that he saw the man with a mask who shot and ran after him. I blacked out after that."

Aphmau's lips would curl as she looked in deep thought before she told Garroth everything that had transpired in Bright Port as well as what happened with Zenix. Garroth was clearly shocked despite the lack of view of his facial expression. That was his apprentice as well as his best friend. Deep down, he even considered Zenix to be his son... So, to find out Zenix could be behind it all, was a lot for Garroth to take in. You were also shocked. Though you weren't as close as Garroth and Brendan were to Zenix, you and he had pleasant conversations together. You wouldn't have expected that Zenix would both kidnap a lord and steal his magick away from him. What a world...

"Zenix... Could he... have done this to me...? N-no, no... I refuse to believe that. He would nev-... Sure, I found him when he was a troubled lad, but he wouldn't do something this...?" He was scrambling for some sort of justification or excuse for Zenix and looking for some sort of validation of those claims. He'd continue. "He's like a son to me. S-someone must've convinced him or forced him to do something like this." You felt a slight hint of pain in your throat as you heard Garroth speak. Aphmau would say, "I'm sorry Garroth... It's true."

Garroth would soon groan, his hand leaving yours and going to his chest. "My... My heart... I have heard that when people are sad their hearts feel physical pain... Though I suppose it doesn't help I have actual pain in my chest..." He tried to choke out a laugh, only to groan once more. Aphmau frowned once more and said, "We shall have this conversation another time, you need to rest."
