You laid in bed, gripping onto the sheets that lay on you as you struggled to breath. This sickness you had was killing your insides and there wasn't a single cure for the unknown sickness you were suffering from. Your cheeks were flushed red, and your eyes felt terribly heavy. Despite how you're feeling right now there was one person who stood by you, even with the possibility of contracting whatever illness you had.

Garroth.

He ran a towel over your face, wiping away the sweat that fell from your forehead. Despite how deeply he was concerned for you, he, as always, kept his composure. You both were silent the entire time he took care of you. Though he'd soon break this uncomfortable silence,

"Second time."

You glanced his way, looking into his deep ocean blue eyes. Made you thirsty. Hm...

"We have yet to find the reason for this..." He sounded frustrated now, not at you though. More at himself. Once, he could manage. But twice? It's weird, especially if its only you are getting like this and no one else is. No magick's user or doctor could find out what was wrong. They couldn't even help. He ran a hand over his face, wondering what he was going to do with you.

He'd look back at you as his hand sat over his mouth. He didn't want to worry you further with his thoughts. "Hey, just rest up. I'll be right here for you." He softly began running his hand through your hair which made you begin feeling sleepy. Once you seemed to have fallen asleep, he placed a kiss on your head. "Sleep well..."

You shook your head, trying not to think of the memory that had just come to mind as you watched Aphmau wiped the sweat that threatened to fall down from her forehead on a hot day. Maybe today wasn't the best day to start building a house? Eh, she had already started and was starting on the roof of the building. Though she didn't do this all by herself, Brendan had offered to help as well as a few villagers. What a kind act. This definitely was above her nonexistent pay grade, but if it's to please a fellow person who is living in her village without a home, she is willing to build anything for them.

She paused with the building when she heard her name being called, "Lady Aphmau?" She leaned over the edge of the building and made eye contact with you. You've been watching the process of the building so far and it honestly made you feel bad. You aren't a builder, but you wouldn't have minded helping, or even just making the house yourself. Once you saw her you said, "You didn't have to do this; I could've just made my own home, or maybe got someone else to do it." It sort of surprised you to see her doing it, she was a Lord... You haven't heard of Lord doing the typical for of the people.

She would shake her head, smiling. "It's no problem! I don't mind, I need to practice for whenever I get new villagers anyway!" She said before she went back to building immediately. You definitely are going to thank her with something, maybe some fairy lights? Diamonds? No clue. You'll figure it out though.

It's been a day since you arrived back home. Garroth has been getting better, though you have yet to actually catch him awake. Kiki told you that he may be able to be up and at 'em in a few days or so. All that matter to you that was Garroth getting better.

Now time to think about what to do...

Maybe it's time to see what the vendor has for you to buy; you are a bit hungry. You slowly made your way down the village of Phoenix Drop and to the Plaza where you saw Dale chatting it up with Logan, the food vendor in Phoenix Drop, and Donna. You walked over and waved at the three and they returned the action. "Y/n, you need to try this new ale! It's absolutely wonderful!" He said before taking a huge swig of the alcoholic drink. You couldn't help but shudder at the thought of taking in so much ale in one go.
