Meeting the lads

It was 6 am on a Tuesday, and I woke up from the annoying voices of the birds they do my head in. I tried to go back to sleep, but I just couldn't, which was annoying as I only got to bed at 3am.

I had to be up anyways that day, so I didn't bother going back to sleep. I had to be up to go shopping with my best mate Lily for some
Outfit ideas, as we're going to see the band "The Vaccines" tomorrow, and me and Lily want to try and pull the lead singer (aka Justin Young), we're planning on getting barricaded even though we don't have a chance.
While lying in bed for a few hours, I decided to give Lily a message at 12 a.m.

Me: Hey, lil you up x

She didn't reply until it turned 2...
Typical

Lily: Just woken up, y/n. I'll get ready soon, just going to have something to eat otherwise, I'll pass out before I go x

Me: Sound.
I'm ready to meet me up town. I'll be waiting outside H&M.

Got no reply from Lily I reckon she went back to sleep as usual.

I got out the shower and got changed.
Slipping on some black skinny's and wearing my stone roses t-shirt, and finishing off my outfit, I put on some of my old as fuck docs.
Pretty sure I've had these for around 5 years now, but they still look good as new.
I then made my way over to my dresser. I brushed my hair and put it into a low bun, as well as doing a few touch-ups on my makeup.

While walking to the bus stop, Lil finally replied

Lily: I'm nearly ready, sorry y/n I fell to sleep. I went to bed at 2 last night. My sleep schedule is fucked.

While I got on the bus, I plugged earphones into my phone and started playing the vaccines on shuffle. I was so fucking excited to see the band I grew up listening to live.
Bear in mind I've seen them before, but I just feel like this time is special.

While stepping off the bus, I checked my phone, and it turned 3.
I noticed Lily messaged me back.

Lily: OMW babes x

Me: Fucking finally I'm waiting outside H&M for ya. Hurry up, shops will close soon, and I have to get quite a bit of stuff xx

Lily met me outside the shops. She looked like she had just been dragged through a hedge.
She really didn't bother to put in any effort.
But I don't blame her, lol. We're only going shopping.

"Jesus, you look a little a little rough lil ," I said jokingly.

"Cheers," Lily replied in a sarcastic tone.

"I need to get some new trousers for tomorrow.
Thinking about getting some leather ones.".

"Leather??" Lily answered, and I could tell she found it funny, not sure why.

"Yeah. Why? What's wrong with leather?"

"Nothing, just a bit much y/n, don't you think?"
Lily explained with a smirk on her face.
