A soft lush whole sound of a heart beat in slow motion filled the atmosphere.

It was dark and that was the only sound audible around before things slowly made clearer sounds.

A faded foggy vision tried to regain a stable sight.

The lights of a siren flashed off and on
Off and on and a crimson red bright cozy light that illuminated the floor made visible a man's body laying drenched on the ground.

Parts of his face had been deformed,
his right hand bent out of shape and as lightning flashed you could see his whole visage looking like a thing Frankenstein's monster had just played with.

An unpleasant sight, left for dead he seemed, and then a voice spake, "Hey buddy are you good over there?".

"Hey"

"Hey"

A slow white fade and we're back.

Jani's eyes opened,
He was experiencing a dream like flash back but he was actually on the floor, above the coffin to be specific and it was day time and the sun was out.

The security guard who monitors the cemetery time to time to ward-off weirdos who dig up graves looking for gold or precious items to sell at pun-shops or whatever they do after they dig up the graves was passing by.

A week before he failed to prevent a coffin theft in that same graveyard so he tried to be more vigilant and more intentional about his shifts.

He called out, " Hey, Hey, what are you doing over there are you alright?".

Jani Grayves was laying cheek flat on the ground trying to slowly regain consciousness waking up opening both his eyes and as the voice said "Hey!" once more he flew up to his feet like someone who was previously doing some work out exercise.

The Cemetery guard said," Why in the world where you even laying there, aren't you ever one bit concerned about the germs if nothing?".

Jani having a hard time speaking said after he lifted his hand to his chest like his voice box was there and he was trying to get a hold of it," Sorry I'm abit confused".

He put his hand up lifting one finger with a full baggy eyes and he said,"I just woke up, I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing here".

The Cemetery guard said," Do you have an ID on you?".

Jani Grayves pointed at the tombstone while saying," Well there's that, hmm well yeah If that serves as a form of ID, that's me,
I'm Jani Grayves.
