New roommate

Navia's POV

"Ugh, another Monday morning" I grumbled, as I stretched my arms and got out of bed. I currently lived alone in my dormitory room, but was getting a new roommate later today, which I was pretty excited about.

I walked over to the bathroom, not bothering to lock the door, as I started getting ready for the day. I grabbed the toothpaste and spread it across my toothbrush, before putting it in my mouth and turning it on.

I checked my phone to see a new message from my best friend, Furina.

Furina

Hey girl did u hear the news that ur getting a new roomie^.^

Anyways get ur ass here or the teacher will be mad

I chuckled, as I continued getting ready for the day. I grabbed my makeup bag and started applying different kinds of beauty products on my face, enjoying the silky feeling it had on my skin.

I soon got done and sped out of the bathroom to get dressed, I picked out a pink short skirt and a white lace crop top. I quickly left the dormitory, locking it just in case.

I tried my best to get to class as soon as possible, as I suddenly bumped into someone, falling onto the ground with a loud thud. I groaned and cursed the person under my breath, as I looked up to see who it was.

It was Clorinde, she was one of those who people feared, noone really dared to mess with her or bother her. Personally, I wasn't scared of her, what's the worst she could do?

"Excuse me, you have eyes for a reason, so maybe watch where you're going next time, eh?" I spat out, as I stood up and pushed my way through her, walking over to the classroom.

I heard her mumble something, but paid no attention. Instead, I walked inside the classroom and sat in my seat, which was right next to Furina.

"Oof, you're so lucky, one more minute and you'd get detention" Furina whispered, as I took out my notebook and pen, getting ready for the lesson.

"Ugh, it's not my fault. That idiot bumped into me, like, seriously, is she blind?" I complained, crossing my arms and pouting my lips.

"Huh? What idiot?"

"You know, Clorinde"

Furina stopped for a moment, before snickering to herself. "Good thing she didn't beat your ass"

"Oh please, as if I'd let her do anything to me"

"Ladies, please quiet down" The teacher said in a cold tone, tapping our desk with his stick, before turning back around to face the board.

I didn't pay attention to the class, the topic was boring and the overall lesson was just the land of boredom. I leaned back into my seat and waited for the lesson to end.

It was breakfast break, yes, we had breakfast and lunch breaks in our school. Furina and I sat down at our usual table, right by the water dispensing machine. I took out my food that I've prepared in the dorm, since I refuse to eat that disgusting cafeteria food.

However, I packed only a sandwich, since I am on a diet. People have told me I don't need to go on diets, as I'm skinny enough, but I don't feel like I deserve a lot of food.

I turned my head to look at the entrance, as I saw Furina's girlfriend, Arlecchino walk in. I smirked. "Cappuccino Arlecchino is here"

The white haired girl smiled, as she waved at her girlfriend, signaling her to sit down with them. She walked over to their table and sat down, leaning in to give Furina a soft and quick kiss on the lips.

I rolled my eyes at their display of affection. "So, anyways.. My new roommate is supposed to arrive this evening"

Arlecchino raised a brow; "New roommate? Huh, who would've thought you'd get a roommate"

I didn't understand what she meant by that and shook my head with a roll of the eyes. "I really hope it's not someone weird, with like a feet fetish or something, you know"

Both Furina and Arlecchino burst out laughing, as Furina questioned; "Feet fetish? That's what you're worried about?"

"What else should I be worried about?"

"Well maybe the fact that you could get paired up with someone you dislike and you'd have to spend every single day with them"

"Nah, feet fetish is worse, imagine you wake up at night to get some water and your roommate is touching your feet"

Furina shook her head, as she chuckled. "You can be really stupid sometimes, you know what?"

"Whatever" I replied in a sarcastic tone, but couldn't the little smile forming on my face. I love my friends.

"Should we go to your dorm?" Arlecchino asked.

"Why can't we go to yours?" I replied, to which she stood up and grabbed her bag "Cuz yours is nicer, let's go"

I rolled my eyes. I hate my friends.

The three of us walk out of the cafeteria and head towards my dormitory room, I grabbed the key out of my pocket and pushed it inside the door, unlocking and opening it.

Furina immediately dragged Arlecchino to my bed, practically making out in my dorm.

"Like horny teenagers, seriously, get a room, you two" I rolled my eyes. The sigh reminded me of when I found Neuvillette and that girl... I tried to shake off the thought and plastered a smile on my face.

"Oh please, just because you're third wheeling, doesn't mean we have to stop everything to talk to you, maybe if you found a boyfriend you wouldn't be third wheeling" Furina chuckled, as she gently cupped Arlecchino's cheeks, giving her a kiss on the forehead.

I couldn't help but admire them, their love was so pure, so innocent... I don't believe in love after what happened with my ex, but I know for a fact that whatever is going on between them is love.

I had to admit, I felt envious and jealous of them. I wanted to have what they have, such a pure relationship, where noone hides anything, where both people are honest.

"I wish I had what you have, Furina" I thought in my head, as I watched as the two cuddled on my bed, looking at eachother with such loving gazes.

But no, Navia, you promised yourself you would never get love involved anymore, get yourself together.

"Soooo Navia~ Are you excited to meet your roommate?" Furina asked, it was what, the third time today?

"You said that like three times already" I rolled my eyes.

"Well yeah, but... Your roommate is coming..." She trailed off, as she mentally counted, before the door opened. "..Now"

A tall girl with dark purple hair walked in, my jaw dropped.

Clorinde.

"No way in hell am I putting up with you" I said in a shocked tone, Clorinde DEFINITELY wasn't who I expected my roommate to be.
