Maybe it was a little foolish of Hyun-ae to think that she'd be safe at her home forever. But nevertheless, Hyun-ae thought that she'd be completely safe from Jae-joon. After all, she had taken extra precautions - failing to tell Jae-joon where she lived and even changing her phone number so Jae-joon couldn't call her anymore. Do-yeong had even gone as far as buying her a new phone just to make sure she'd be able to avoid Jae-joon's calls for good. Hyun-ae felt just a little too paranoid, barely leaving the house just in case Jae-joon would be out there stalking her and trying to kidnap her back home.
Hyun-ae certainly wouldn't put it past him.
But no matter how many measures Hyun-ae took, it seemed as though it wouldn't be enough. And Hyun-ae would learn that the hard way today.
