LANCE IN MULTIMEDIA
NORTH
I was on the road for what seemed 30 hours last week but it was worth it. I left to move to Atlanta for a new start. No, I'm not taking the mansion Eden had already bought. I used the money he gave me a while ago to buy a nice 3 bedroom two story home.
I brought my younger sister Aaliyah with me. She was miserable going through the same thing I did with mom when I lived there so I thought I'd put her out her misery. Aaliyah was 16 and was a wild child but I let her know when I picked her up that I wasn't putting up with that fast shit.
It was perfect for me and Jeremiah. I know leaving without telling anybody was wrong but who gives a fuck. I need to worry about me and raising my son without a father. I know back when I was pregnant I use to always say I won't let Eden in his life if he kept acting out. But I never meant it I know its important for a child to have a father in their life especially a boy.
I had to turn my phone off and get a new number because Ace and his mother kept calling me. Its funny that Renee is even trying considering the fact that she didn't care for Jeremiah before he was even born.
So I find it funny that she wants anything to do with him now. As far as Ace, I still love him like a brother and I will call him one of these days. But nobody knows where I live but Nya. I was hesitant on telling her to but she's proven her loyalty and that she's trust worthy over time.
I looked around my house that I fully furnished yesterday. It looked way better than the house before. My phone beeped and I got a text from Nya.
Merry Christmas Eve bitch miss ya
I twisted my face up. I been so caught up I forgot it was even December. "Aaliyah" I yelled throughout the home.
I sighed heavily as I went up to Jeremiah's nursery and got him ready. I need to go to the nearest store and get a tree, presents, and food to make a dinner.
I went inside her room that she was still putting her stuff away in. "What?" she asked.
"Tomorrow's Christmas and I'm going to the store you coming?" I asked. She got her jacket and followed me out the room.
After bundling him up in blankets in his car seat. I went outside to my car. I buckled him in then looked over at my new neighbors homes. They all had holiday decorations so I don't know how I missed it.
"We have a lot of shopping to do Mr." I said to Jeremiah as if he new what I was talking about. I turned up the radio as I drove around trying to find a store.
Moving to Atlanta has to be the best decision I made in a while. Not only does it feel like home here but there are a lot of cute guys here. Most of them have dreads and look like rappers but they are fine as hell.
I found a Walmart then pulled into the packed parking lot. I guess no matter where you live there's always a Walmart. I pulled in the nearest parking spot then got Jeremiah out the back.
"Damn" some nigga with dreads said licking his lips watching me. I gave him a polite smile then put Jeremiah's car seat on top of the buggy.
It shocked me to get looked at like that. Yea my face is still beautiful but I haven't worked out since I had the baby. My ass and titties was bigger but I still had a little pouch on my stomach. I made a mental note to join a gym and get a trainer so my body could be right for the summer.
Since I'm working on moving on and letting go. Not now, but in the next year or so I will be open to finding somebody else. I want my next to be way different from Eden. I want someone with an actual careers and doesn't think having the biggest rims in the city makes you a man.
