(Not one specific POV)

(Some time after the wedding)

Sophie hugged her husband tightly, taking deep breaths.

"I can't believe our little girl will be here soon." Sophie whispered. "I'm so nervous."

"Yeah, I can feel that." Keefe said with a smirk. "But you don't need to be nervous. I knew when I married you that I would be by your side forever, and that's especially true now, when we're about to be parents. Come on, trust the Empath."

"I know. And I love you." Sophie replied, kissing him. "And I know that because of you, our little girl is gonna be funny and smart and sweet and awesome. You have no idea how relieved I am to have such a good husband next to me. Thank you."

"It's not just because of me, Foster," Keefe added. "You're the smartest, most ridiculously gorgeous girl I've ever met, and I'm so glad we get to have a family like this. So you shouldn't worry at all. We can handle it. Without a doubt."

Before Sophie could respond, the nurse came into the room.

"Since you can't feel any pain, I've been checking your vitals, and it seems like your little girl is ready to come into the world." The nurse said. After a couple of minutes, Sophie was holding her little girl.

"Mama?" She asked. Sophie smiled and nodded. Then she turned to Keefe. "Dada?" Keefe nodded proudly.

"What should we name her?" Keefe asked.

"Ellerie Calla Foster." Sophie said.

"I love it." Keefe decided. "It's perfect."

Seconds later, Ellerie was already asleep.

Ever since they had been in the Forbidden Cities, they had decided that the Lost Cities were a better place to start a family. So now they lived in their own house called Moonlight, near Havenfield.

After wrapping things up at the hospital, they carried their sweet girl home.

(Years later)

Sophie and Keefe had three kids now. Ellerie was ten, their middle son Alsee was eight, and their youngest daughter Macie was almost six.

"DAD! ALSEE IS COMPLAINING ABOUT MY EMOTIONS AGAIN!" Ellerie shouted from upstairs.

Oh, yeah, and one other thing.

The Foster children had manifested when they were five, just like Sophie. It was a tradition now.

Alsee was an Empath and a Teleporter.

Ellerie was an Inflictor and Enhancer.

Macie was a Telepath and Polyglot.

All of their abilities had been passed on to their children. Even if they were a bad match.

"Oops, I better go deal with that." Keefe mumbled, levitating upstairs to help Alsee.

"Can we ride the alicorns now?" Macie asked. Sophie turned towards her daughter, smiling at the way her bright brown eyes shimmered with excitement.

"Soon. We have to help your brother first." I
Sophie replied. She took her daughter's hand and helped her levitate up the stairs.

When they got to Alsee's room, they found Keefe, Ellerie, and Alsee arguing.

"...and I told her not to come into my room because my Empathy is extra strong today and I just wanna be alone. But then she went to grab Iggy from my room, when I literally just told her not to come in here! Her emotions are too strong!" Alsee complained.

"That's not my problem! I just wanted to dye Iggy a new color!" Ellerie jumped in.

"Look, guys, I get both of your situations completely, but Ellerie, you could've just asked your brother to drop Iggy in front of the door, and maybe-" Keefe was cut off when Alsee huffed and jumped out of the window.

"Oh great, you made him mad." Sophie teased, smacking Keefe's arm before she jumped out of the window to follow Alsee.

She caught him in the void and teleported them back in front of Moonlight.

"Dang it, I knew you would come after me." Alsee mumbled.

"That's my job." Sophie whispered, pulling her son into a hug.

"Yeah, well, I don't wanna be here." Alsee snapped.

"Maybe. But your family loves you, no matter how much we fight. So you don't have to go straight to Ellerie and Dad to apologize, but... Just forgive them. They love you. And I love you too." Sophie reminded him, kissing the top of his head. Alsee sighed and then smiled.

"Thanks, mom. You're the best."
