I guess I should tell you who I am. My name is Alexander. Although that doesn't really matter. I mean this isn't my story, it's her story.
Where to start? Maybe with pixie girl. Yeah I'll start with her.
After the class period she stood up fluidly and left the class room. Jade didn't really seem to care, like I said she doesn't like people. I went up to her, planning on demanding where she was. I tapped her shoulder and when she turned around expectantly, she frowned when she saw me.
"Jade, where were you, you have been gone forever as you won't respond to anyone's texts." I stated feeling a bit harsh, she continued to pack her belongings and ten exit the classroom. And I followed her.
"Don't you get it? I didn't respond to anyone's texts that are in anyway mingled with you." She turned back around, her brown hair flipping and swaying down her shoulders. "I don't want you in my life." Her glare grew more intense and she spun around and marched off. Leaving me standing in the hall looking like a fool.
"Woah man, you pushed her past her point." Ryan Hurse said as he walked by me, staring after Jade.
And so the day went by and by the time lunch rolled around I wasn't hungry and I felt like I was going to vomit. I usually say with Jade and some drama club members that she likes. Except Jade wouldn't want me to sit there. Where else was I going to sit. I had spent all my time living here chasing after this one person and I never really made friends.
That's when I realise it. I wasn't going to give up on Jade, no I already spent too much time on her to give up. I was going to fight. Even if that meant getting a little scratched up along the way.
So I sat down. And pixie girl was there.
"Oh hey! Your in my English class, sorry I didn't really chat with you, but I'm Emilee anyways." Her voice was exotic and her eyes were strange. I didn't like her.
Jade glared at me and rolled her eyes. She got her phone out and started texting someone. A few seconds later Emilee's phone buzzed and she looked at me with sudden disinterest. I wonder what that text must've said.
Jade got up. She walked a bout three steps before stopping suddenly.
"Alexander!" She said and ten turned around "Stop staring at me, stop stalking me. You are obsessed and I don't like it. You know why I don't! So stop!" Tears were spilling down her face and she ran to the girls bathroom.
"Dude seriously, everyone knows you won't leave her alone. Just get over it. She doesn't like you." Ryan Hurse says as he dumps his tray in the trash.
Then another new face walks into the lunchroom. In all of this heart wrenching events I notice someone who doesn't really matter. Another new kid. Everyone is glaring at me and saying things like "leaver her alone" or "stop being such a jerk" and I notice a new kid walk into the food court. I also notice Jade exiting the bathroom with a splotchy red face. I notice how she sees me watching her and flips me off and I also notice how he sees the array of events going on. And then I see how he notices her. He glances at her as she flips me off and then as she walks out of the building right next to him. She bumps into him and turns around, touching his shoulder lightly and apologises. She smiles and leaves. I also notice how his eyes trail her, and when she looks back she smiles. She doesn't grimace or glare, she doesn't flip him off. She smiles. I have never received one of those smiles.
