once upon a time there was a man who hated pineapples.

but in the town that he lived in everyone loved pineapples and they would eat them every day.

the man didnt like this, so every time he saw a pineapple he would run into his house and stay there until he was sure that the person had finished.

no one in the town knew why he didnt like pineapples.

they had an amazing taste and they were really good for you.

one day a little girl went up to man and said "Mr why don't you like pineapples?".

the man was shocked by this and demanded why she asked.

she replied and said that pineapples are amazing and that if he didnt know that he must of never tried them before.

he just lowered his head and started shaking it.

"whats wrong mr? have you never tried a pineapple before?"

he shook his head.

"never ever?!" she asked. she was so suprised.

"never ever" he replied. "they scare me. theyre so pointy and im afraid that its going to hurt me."

"you dont eat the pointy bit silly." she laughed at him and he looked surprised.

"really?" he asked laughing.

"yes really, here try some" the girl said holding out a peice of pineapple.

the man took it from her hand and put it into his mouth.

he chewed and chewed and then he swallowed.

"that was...............................................................................................................AMAZING!"

"i told you." said the little girl.

Then everyone came and cheered for both the man and the little girl.

the next day they had a pineapple party and the man didnt run away when he saw a pineapple anymore.

instead he ate it.
