In one morning as the sun brightens while the birds chirp near empress Asami's room, Asami started singing along with birds' tune while Botan being one of the empire's respected soldiers heard her voice, that's the moment when love became felt. He then said, "I'm forbidden to even hear her voice let alone seeing her,what about having feelings for her? I'll get killed in the end." Botan left disappointed that very moment.
