The days until spring break slowly became fewer and fewer, and Mandy spent each and every day working on her plan to break into the agency and attempt to bring her loved ones into the real world. So far, she had already determined the date and planned for her, Roy, and Iris to depart in the middle of the night when her mother would believe they'd already gone to bed.

As for getting to the agency, Mandy wasn't completely sure. Agent Bryant had not checked up on her since, and she guessed that calling for him or asking questions would only draw suspicion. Her plan, meanwhile, was to go past where she normally would linger in her YearDimension, hoping to find the agency. Then, she supposed she would take it from there. She was sure Roy and Iris would be used as distraction and would help her break in. But if Mandy successfully got to the computer lab, she wasn't sure what would go on from there.

Overall, Roy and Iris were essential to the plan as they'd most likely be buying her time in the computer lab. It was risky, not completely organized, and dangerous, but Mandy had to try. She wanted this more than she had wanted anything else in her life.

When spring break finally did arrive, Mandy sat on her bed, her Time Precedent clasped in her hand. Her mother was out running errands, giving Mandy some time to use it. She had decided this would be the last time she'd use it before she followed her plan, which would be in only a few mere days.

Sighing, Mandy slowly thought back to the mysterious box and missing key, allowing it to free itself from her mind. It didn't matter anymore. Soon, she would have all her friends and family back, and maybe she'd be able to experience happiness again.

Laying down on her bed, Mandy entered in the year and pressed the familiar button, her eyes clouding as she was transported to the Year Dimension.

When her eyes opened at last, she was thrilled to find herself back in Jessie's house. She wasn't exactly sure where she'd end up when she first pressed the button, but she was thrilled to be here. Jessie was the one she wanted to see the most, and if all went well in a few days, perhaps she'd be able to see Jessie every day.

She found herself in Jessie's empty bedroom, though before she could call for her, her friend happily walked into the room, her eyes gleaming as they fell on Mandy.

"Hi, Mandy. How are you doing?" she asked happily, sitting down on the bed alongside Mandy.

"Quite well, actually," Mandy replied. And she truly did mean it. She was overly excited for her plan to go underway, and she couldn't wait to actually see Jessie in real life again, be able to touch her, be able to hear her laugh.

"Why are you staring?" Jessie asked curiously, and Mandy realized she'd been staring at her friend for quite a few seconds in silence.

"Just thinking," Mandy replied, turning her gaze instead toward her feet.

"I'm glad you're here today,"Jessie spoke up at last. "How about we go to the park?"

"The park?" Mandy asked, remembering going to the park with Jessie during spring break not too many years before.

"Yeah. It'll be fun," Jessie assured her.

"I'm for it," Mandy replied.

"Great," said Jessie. She stood up and led Mandy down the stairs toward the front door. Mandy followed her outside, glad to see the sun shining brightly.
