Chapter 10

No P.O.V

   After some persuasion, they successfully convinced the bots to accompany them for a shopping trip to the mall.

   They made the choice to divide into teams of three. Team Miko consisted of three individuals: Miko, Bulkhead, and Smokescreen.

  The composition of Team Rafael comprised of 3 members: Rafael, Bumblebee, and Rachet.

   Lastly, Team Jack also consisted of three members: Jack, Optimus, and Arcee.

   Optimus believed it was better to proceed in this manner to avoid drawing excessive attention, while Miko pointed out that on occasion people formed large gatherings.

   Nevertheless, Optimus declined, he refused to participate in it. However, he failed to comprehend a certain aspect of human behavior.

No P.O.V [Team Miko]

   Miko guided Bulkhead and Smokescreen around the mall while continuously talking about human activities.

   Heading towards a Walmart. Bulkhead and Smokescreen were amazed to see a variety of large and small things when they entered Walmart through the open doors.

   Miko, who had fetched a cart, approached both of them and spoke with enthusiasm. "Let's hurry up, or we won't have enough time to explore the whole mall!"

   Both robots gazed at her before accompanying her in 'exploring' the massive store.

No P.O.V [Team Jack]

   Jack, Arcee, and Optimus had entered the mall first, thoroughly exploring every part of it. The interior was extremely packed.

   Optimus worried that if he glanced away briefly, Jack would seamlessly disappear into the crowd. Arcee remained composed, actively avoiding the passersby while ensuring her focus was on Jack in order to not lose sight of him.

   There were various types of stores, with some located in the middle of the corridors and others occupying a large room or store. Jack was accustomed to busy areas; when he went to see his mother at the hospital, he often encountered crowded floors with patients and staff.

   Jack opted to bring Arcee and Optimus to the western side of the mall where there was typically a fountain filled with water, although occasionally the water supply was shut off for unknown reasons.

   The mall's decorations are put up either in the early morning or late afternoon, depending on the season. By monitoring their Facebook page, you could possibly find out about upcoming events.

   Upon reaching their destination, Jack guided them to a few metal benches that were painted green. Arcee exclaimed with raised voice that she had never seen a fountain inside a building before, impressed by the flowing water and talking people.

   Optimus gave a nod; he had observed fountains of energon both indoors and outdoors before, but it had been such a long time that he had nearly forgotten the tranquility it brought. Nearly.

   They conversed briefly before they heard a gunshot and cries coming from the distance. Upon seeing where the sound originated, they observed a frantic group of people rushing towards the closest exit.

   In the group, Bulkhead, Smokescreen, and Miko attempted to make their way to the rest of the team once they saw them.

Optimus Prime P.O.V

   I had glimpsed Bulkhead in the crowd, but lost sight of him when a larger individual ran by. In no time at all, Bulkhead, Smokescreen, and Miko escaped the frantic crowd and sprinted in our direction.

   "Is everything alright with you all?" I heard Jack inquire as he came closer to them and we observed them taking a moment to rest.

   Miko said they needed to locate Raf and his team before the shooter arrives as she gave Jack a bag full of items.

  Jack was puzzled as to why she was handing him the bag.

   She responded, "You are more cautious than Smokey or Bulk," before pulling out her phone and beginning to dial a number. The phone rang several times before someone answered it

"Hey Miko, is everything alright?"

"What do you mean if everything is alright! Where are you guys?"

"In the video game store with Bee and Rachet."

"Raf, get out of the store now! There a shooter in here!"

"What?! Miko if there a was a shooter we would have heard the gun shout!

"Well there one on this side of the mall!"

"Hold on, I tell the-''

Gunshot heard on the line

"Raf, you there?"

Call ends

Miko P.O.V

"Hello?"

   I listened to the gun firing over the phone, tears streaming down my face. An inquiry lingered: 'Was Rafael all right?' I was confused, how did the shooter got close to the game store if they were near Walmart.

  I placed my cellphone in my pocket and then headed towards the video game store.

  I heard Jack call out my name, but I paid no attention, I needed to ensure their safety, Rafael's safety was a priority.

  Before long, Optimus and his team accompany me in the search for Raf and the others.

Here another chapter, but don't worry Rafael and the others are fine. There aren't hurt. Beside if he was Bumblebee would kick or do something to the person who hurt him. Any way I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
