"12:45 pm I should still have enough time to get ready and be at practice by 1:50" Chuuya muttered to himself, slumping up from his bed and walking towards the bathroom.

Staring at himself in the bathroom mirror chuuya noticed the dark spots under his eyes, he hadn't gotten much sleep last night due to a school project; he'd say around 4:00 am is the time he fell asleep. He also noticed his hair was tangled. He grabbed his hair brush and brushed out all the knots in it with the help of detangler, he wished he could just leave his hair the way it was normally but Chuuya knew it would get in the way with figure skating, doing tricks could be dangerous with his hair down; he'd learned that the hard way.

From the cabinet under the sink he grabbed hair gel, setting it on the counter of the sink, then separated his hair into 3 sections and interlaced them forming a tight braid and finishing the hairstyle off with a little bit of gel on his scalp then smoothing it back so no hair strands get in his face. "I look good." Chuuya says walking out of his bathroom back into his bedroom and to the clothes he laid out yesterday, just some black pants and a skin-tight plain long sleeve black shirt. Chuuya wished he could wear something a bit more fashionable but it was only practice after all.

Finally getting all his stuff together and into his skating bag chuuya made a mental checklist of all his items
Skates? Check.
Gloves? Check.
Skate guards? They were on his skates.
Water jug? Check.
His headphones? Check
Extra hair tyes? Check
Granola bar that his friend gave him like a week ago that he's been saving for a snack? Check.
He should be good to go now, so he waved goodbye to his mom who was making a meal for him when he got back and headed out the door. Just then realizing he would have to walk all the way to the ice rink, so that's what he did.

He passed by people walking their dogs, mothers taking their kids on a walk, stop lights and more before finally arriving at the ice rink.
The outside the ice rink looked kind of Boring; it was a circular building with cyan walls and a white roof with a sign plastered on it reading "Yokohama Ice skating center" it was pretty generic and easily unnoticeable to anyone who wasn't actively looking for it but inside it was a wonderful place, well Atleast for chuuya but that's because he grew up here; every weekend his mom would take him skating just them two and they'd stay and skate for hours until his mom practically dragged him out of the arena while he fought to stay.

Walking in the building he was greeted with "welcome back Chuuya!" By a worker grinning at him so widely he had trouble telling if it was welcoming or scary but nonetheless he walked over and made small talk with the girl, she had straight long blonde hair with green highlights mixed in, her name tag read "Mai" but chuuya already knew her name and she knew his, it wasn't surprising because chuuya came almost everyday and then he was here for competitions a lot too.

"Practice with Mori today?" The girl asked

"Yep"

"Well try not to break a bone this time"

"I won't" Chuuya said in a playful tone walking away.

Looking down at his phone the time was only 1:55 his practice started at 2:05 but he liked to get here earlier to be prepared even if it was just by a few minutes. "Might as well go to the changing/ locker area and put my skates on" he thought to himself. In the locker area there was a bunch of small Grey lockers and a big brown wooden bench in the middle. he wanted to go to the bathroom first though so he set his bag down on the edge of the bench and left to go use the restroom, upon his arrival back in the locker room he was suprised to see his bag on the floor and a kid with brown short hair about 15-16 sitting and putting on their skates where his bag once was.

"Hey, my bag was there did you throw it on the floor?" He asked the boy

"Yes" the boy responded

"Dude why? the whole entire bench was open."
