Chapter 25- Part 3- The Party

I catch up with Josh in the room that he had just come out of. "Josh. What the hell?! Do you know her?!" I ask. Josh nods. "You know her?" he asks me. I nod my head, "Yeah. She's a good friend of Tilly and I." He starts shaking his head and mumbling something incoherent. "Josh. Josh! JOSH!" I try to get his attention. He looks at me, "What are you mumbling about?" I ask.

He sighs, "Remember that ex girlfriend I told you about? The one that was cheating on me with my best mate?" I nod. I remember her. He never told me her name or who the mate was.

"Yeah. What does that have to do with Caitlyn?" I ask. He chuckles, "Sometimes you can be so dense but I like you anyways." I cross my arms over my chest, "Oh jeez. Thanks." I say my voice dripping with sarcasm. He laughs. "Well?" I say.

"Caitlyn was that exgirlfriend." he says. Oh shit. Seriously?! I'm nervous to ask the next question. "Josh?" he looks back down at me, "Who was the best mate?" He looks away, hesitating and then back at me, "It was--" Josh is cut off by the One Direction boys barging in, grabbing Josh and dragging him away.

He looks back at me apologetically. I sigh and walk out of the room. Watching Josh get on stage with the lads, I have one question going through my mind:

Who the fuck is the best mate?

Josh's POV

Shit. Caitlyn is friends with Lucy & Tilly & the other girls? Oh God. This isn't going to turn out well. I wonder if he even recognizes her. I almost didn't. It wasn't until she said her name and then 'Miss me?' that I was sure it was her. I don't know if I can tell Lucy who the lad was.
