Kim Hyeri is your typical Korean high-schooler. She goes to after-school classes, studies 12 hours a day and even eats tteokbokki every Wednesday after school.
But what most people can't see is that she is a loner. She doesn't have any friends at school. No, she does not get bullied. She prefers to be by herself instead.
On the other hand, a guy who goes to the same school as her has an opposite life. Park Jongseong, mostly called "Jay", is a friendly, outgoing teenager.
Unlike Hyeri, he prefers to be surrounded by people. He says he gets energy from them. No, he's not your typical popular guy either.
He doesn't play any sports, nor does he get the best marks. He's just friendly, very friendly. He made over 40 friends four months into the first year of high school.
Would you like to join me in observing how these two met?
