"You're all set." The woman says handing the ticket to me.
"Thank you." I say, walking away.
I walk back over to everyone and sit down.
"It's official, I'm going to Canada." I say.
"What the hell is there even to do in Canada?" Kayla asks.
"Smoke weed." Sabrina says.
"So I've heard!" Sabrina says as we stare at her.
"Does she know you're coming?" Courtney asks.
"Yeah, she's picking me up." I say.
"You better get her a gift or take her to dinner to smooth things over." Kayla says.
"What?" I ask.
"On two different occasions, she has had to watch your ex-girlfriend make sexual advances towards you." Kayla says.
"Yeah..." I say.
"I think you just need to take her out to eat and then ask her to be your girlfriend." Courtney says.
"Is that enough though? I feel like it should be bigger." I say.
"It's fine. All girls want is for you to be intentional and genuine. Show that you care, and it'll take you far." Sabrina says.
I smile and nod.
"Now boarding flight 247 to New York." The flight attendant announces.
"Let us know how it goes, you'll be fine." Sabrina says as they get up.
I smile and they hug me. They walk away and I sigh.
My phone rings and I take it out of my pocket.
"Hello." I say answering my phone.
"Hey, Y/n. I have some great news!" Ethan says.
"Okay." I say.
"Your rep's improving so Nike is going to move forward with production." Ethan says.
"Really?!" I ask.
"Yep, let me know when you're back in New York, so we can get everything signed." Ethan says.
"Okay, thank you." I say.
"Of course, just remember that everything I do is for you and your career." Ethan says.
I furrow my eyebrows and he hangs up.
"Weird." I mumble.
Time Skip; Tate's View
"Everything's perfect, Nike just confirmed that they will go through with production. You're doing great." Ethan says.
"About that..." I say.
"What?" Ethan asks.
"I think I have real feelings for her." I say.
"Really?" Ethan asks.
"Yeah, she seems like a really nice girl and I wanna get to know her without there being an ulterior motive." I say.
"Okay, that's perfectly fine. I hope it works out." Ethan says.
"But let's not tell her about our little arrangement." Ethan says.
"Okay." I say.
"We'll talk later, bye." Ethan says.
"Bye." I say.
I hang up and sigh.
I feel arms wrap around me and I flinch. I hear Y/n laugh and I turn around.
