Lights were out in the dorm, yujin survived using a candle. That's when she heard a knock on the door.

"Wait!"

She shouted before running towards the door with the candle in her hands. She opened it just to find jake with a nervous smile on his face.

"C-can I come in?"

He asked yujin nodded.

"Sorry..I only have a candle in the name of light."

She said awkwardly, he chuckled softly.

"That's something to be grateful of..I didn't even have a candle that's why I came here. The hallway is all dark and I didn't want to get injured hence I came here. I hope I am not troubling you"

He explained.

"That's really great you came here! I needed company anyways"

She said with a smile as she sat on the couch.

"By the way, are you free on this Friday?"

He asked making yujin frown.

"Is he gonna ask me out?!"

She thought as her eyes widen.

"H-hey! It's not like that!"

He said.

Yujin's frown got deeper, "how did he read my mind?!"
She thought as she started to tremble.

"WAIT IS SHE ANGRY?! DID I SAY SOMETHING WRONG?! MAYBE SHE WANTED TO GO ON A DAT-"

He brushed his thoughts off.

"Actually my friend's birthday is near and she invited me. So I thought maybe you would like to come along"

He said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes, he guessed that she would turn him down.

Yujin panicked when she understood that he might feel upset if she didn't agree.

"NO!! I WILL COME OFCOURSE!!"

She said standing up in a jerk.

"H-huhh but I didn't say anything-"

He was cutted off by yujin.

"DO YOU WANT TO EAT ANYTHING?"

Yujin said being oversweet which made him smile awkwardly.

"Huh...s-sure"

He agreed, yujin left for the kitchen with her head down out of embarrassment.

"Something's wrong with her, cute tho"
He thought to himself before giggling with a slight blush.

"Dad..I don't get it why I can't go there?"

Danielle asked almost tearing up.

"I said no didn't I?"

"Dad! That's enough. Why do you hate me so much?!"

"Language marsh."

"MARSH THIS MARSH THAT I AM TIRED. I DON'T WANNA BE MARSH ANYMORE IF THAT'LL COST ME MY WHOLE TEENAGE!"

Danielle yelled as the tears flowed down.

"So, you should have ran away with your mother, right? Oh, sorry, she didn't let anyone know that she is about to escape, not even her own daughter."

He asked with no expression, just pure hatred.

"how could you do it to your own daughter..?!"

Danielle asked as her voice broke.

"Your grandfather did it to me, so the tradition shall continue."
