The mid-morning sun warmed Marigold's face as she observed passers-by from the small table outside the cafe Harry had told her to be at, sipping her coffee slowly to pass the time. She had been awake for hours already, struggling to contain her anxious jitters at the thought of having to deal with the supermodel all day to save her job and the fact he was running half an hour late was doing nothing to calm her nerves.

The plan was to meet here at Il Roseto, a known celebrity hotspot, to be papped enjoying a late lunch before taking a quick stroll around the city to ensure they were spotted by fans. However, being kept waiting with her own thoughts meant she was starting to stress about how to navigate her rapidly rising fame that had been thrust on her overnight.

Since the emergency meeting with Alessandro yesterday morning, a series of changes have been made to her working schedule and publicity obligations to rectify the mistakes she and Harry had made during their outburst at Vogue. Both of them were on their final warning and if either of them brought another wave of bad press to the Winter Collection, they could kiss their jobs goodbye. So, despite insulting Harry's ego under her breath in Italian, she signed the new contract alongside the supermodel and went along with all the changes that were instantly put in place.

Much to her frustration, their phone numbers were now saved into their contacts and the models were now following each other on all social media platforms. Almost as soon as Harry followed her on Instagram, her account was flooded with thousands of new followers that she assumed were all his fans It was intimidating watching her small account with only ten thousand followers suddenly grow in a few hours to nearly ten times as big and she found the only way to settle her anxiety was to stalk through Harry's profile.

Still new to the industry, she was completely out of her depth on what she was expected to post as someone who was now working with famous fashion brands. While Harry's Instagram was controlled by his manager, the majority of his feed was filled with professional photos from his countless jobs alongside posts that showed off his outfits and content for brand deals. The occasional selfie was thrown in too, often showing off his sharp jawline and handsome features to appeal to his large female fanbase and Marigold found herself lingering on those photos for longer than she originally intended. His account had given her an idea of the kind of content she wanted to post and she had taken advantage of Harry's tardiness to take some pictures of her outfit out on the street.

Knowing she was going to be papped and her picture blasted all over the internet in a matter of hours, Marigold had put effort into her appearance to lessen the wave of hateful comments that would no doubt come her way from Harry's jealous female fans. After spending hours getting ready, she felt as if she looked the part of a fashion model for Gucci and suitable to be seen alongside Harry in public.
