(4) RESTLESS

Inuyasha picked Kagome up once she had drifted asleep on top of him. Carrying her over his back he guarded her with his arms while pushing through thorns and branches.
Once he had gotten outside of the bush he quickly took off, bolting through the woods towards the village.

Arriving at Kaede's house he allowed him self in. Kaede layed asleep in a mat if hay and hide, passing by her Inuyasha fixed a bed for Kagome. Dropping her down and covering her with a hide Inuyasha bounded off.

Once morning settled in Lady Kaede woke up. Noticing Kagome still laid asleep she crept quietly around her. Noticing she wore nothing under the hide she grabbed a pair of traditional clothing, folding them beside her head.

As time passed noon came around.
Kagome had just began to wake up, tossing and turning in her bed. Rubbing her eyes, stretching and yawning she sat up. Taking a moment to look around her she noticed a pile of folded clothes beside her.

=KAGOME'S POV=
Am I in Kaede's house?
It took me a moment to wake up and realize my surroundings. I remember sleeping with Inuyasha, he must've carried me here.

As I gained recollection of what happened my mind flustered.
Oh right.

Scrounging up I clothes I unfolded them and began dressing my body. It came along side a hair tie, one like Kikyo's.
Maybe Inuyasha will like me in it. Oh what am I thinking it'll remind him of her.

Scuffing it to the side I finished tying my dress. Standing up I slid on my shoes, grabbed my bag and headed out the door. I was planning on going to school today but I'll go tomorrow. Looking up at the sky I could see the sun smack middle of it.
Its already noon, class has already started there's no point going today.
Still I wanted to head home, it's been awhile since I've seen my family.

As I headed outside the village into the forest I kept my look out for Inuyasha. Occasionally pausing to look out for him, maybe in the trees behind me or ahead of me.
He's gotta be here somewhere I know he is! Knowing him he's at the well.

Time passed as I walked through the woods. The sky was clear and the sun was beaming through the leaves leaving golden strobes of light that got bigger and brighter as the woods faded out into a field. Arriving at the well I stopped in my tracks, spanning my eyes across the space.
"That Inuyasha! Can't say goodbye to me how rude."
Maybe he's shy after last night.

Jumping through the well I wounded up in my grandfather's shrine. Passing through the shrines doors I headed into my home, through the door pass the dining room and up the stairs to my bedroom.
Finally I can lay in the comfort of my own bed!

Soon as I entered my bedroom I dropped my bag and chucked my shoes with a kick of my feet. Lunging into my bed I plopped onto my soft sheets sinking into my mattress.
"AAhh if only I could bring this there."
