Of course her first day at JOC and she is running late. Maggie Bell is never late but she hasn't slept well in 3 months since she lost her husband that she is barely functioning.
"You're late Bell" came the voice when she walked in and she wondered how he knew who she was.
"I'm sorry sir it won't happen again." Maggie tells him and she knows it.
"See that it doesn't." He says and Maggie knows he means it after all this is the great Jubal Valentine she has heard so much about.
