what was chihime looking for in an internship?

chihime wasn't good at rescue, she wanted to fight the big bad guys. but she didn't wanna rush in on learning that, she had a wide view of her skills, and she wanted to improve them all. so she wasn't focusing on what she wanted to learn, but what she needed to learn.

"who're you choosing dumbass?" bakugo questioned the girl as he eyed the papers in her hands,

she pursed her lips as she ran through a couple of names on her list,

"i don't know yet, you?" she questioned, he scoffed

"i'm not gonna fucking tell you!" he shrugged before grabbing his papers and leaving, she rolled her eyes as she grabbed her stuff, following him.

"shoto! wait up!" chihime yelled out as she caught up to the boy, he raised an eyebrow.

"greetings chihime" he closed his eyes as he attempted a smile.

"sooo! how was it?" she questioned, referencing the visit with his mother, this time he let out an actual smile.

"it was..nice. i'm gonna visit her more, im also going to get her out of there soon." the boy spoke determinedly as they walked, he stared at the sunset,

"that's nice, i'm happy you're fixing things" chihime grinned, laying her arm on the boys shoulder.

"sooo! who you choosing for interns? i'm so stuck on mine." chihime cried jokingly as she questioned the boy,

"..hmm, i think im doing my father." shoto replied, noticing chihime's eyes widen

after shoto had explained everything to chihime, she would've assumed he would've done anything to get away from him, and now he's choosing him?

"why?" she simply asked as she observed the boy closely,

"he's the number two hero for a reason. he's a horrible person but he'll teach me good." he shrugged, todoroki was one of the most mature boys chihime knew, her brother being at the top, and at the bottom? there was bakugo.

"mm, i get that. that's real mature, putting your differences aside so that you can get the best education, i thrive to be like you shoto!" the girl complimented as she met a corner,

"shoto can i get your number? so we can talk out of school!" chihime prompted as she pulled out her phone

"sure." shoto responded bluntly as he pulled out his, they swapped phones before heading their different ways.

the most bakugo could do to make himself feel better about his mistakes, was agree to one hangout with chihime. just one, and it would never happen again.

bakugo believed there was a system, good and bad, when bakugo fucked up like that, he had to do something good to even it out, and when something bad happened to him, something great will follow. thats how life was for him, so him drinking boba while walking infront of the girl was him making up his good point for the day.
