Issei woke up, there was no change, it seemed that Ophis was still sleeping and similar to Lilith, cuddled next to him at some point. He patted her head as he began to get up without waking her. He stretched his muscles as he would need to speak with Minerva soon. He had a feeling that once Latia informed Ajuka about speaking with him about the Necromorphs, he would scramble to get a meeting done as soon as possible.

If Issei was correct, that meeting would likely be today, it would just be a matter of when. In addition, Issei was also hoping that a base could be taken care of, maybe he could find information about Arius. He was glad that he had gone with Kiba and Gasper to the one that was near Kyoto. He also knew that with a base, he could try his new weapons and get one step closer. It would be a matter of who he would have to take with him.

He had a number of options to choose from, such as Kiba and Gasper again, after all, they worked well together last time. Kiba also wasn't too damaged in the rating game either, so a couple days of rest should be good for him. There was Minerva and Ingvild, he didn't want them to get rusty, but it seemed Yasaka had given them side missions on the day that he was out. He thought about bringing Irina along as well, so he can match her fighting style and maybe rekindle their flame again. He also had the options of Ravel, Rossweisse, and Xenovia, if either Riser or Seekvaira allowed it.

Issei: So many options, so little time - as he went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Ddraig: Are you willing to do this? Help the factions? Especially the ones that stabbed you in the back?

Issei: 'Ddraig, you know what I'm thinking, I'm not doing anything for the factions. Frankly, I wouldn't give a damn about the Nordic faction, but they have Vali anyways, but I would only help them because I would be helping Rose-chan and putting her at ease that her grandmother and friends are okay.'

Ddraig: And the fallen angels?

Issei: 'You already know they owe me a favor, it was because of them that I was thrown into this world, not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.'

Ddraig: Let's go with both, good because you found people that care about you and people who have stabbed you in the back. I told you before that...

Issei: 'The lives of the carriers of the Sekiryuutei are never a good one or never have a good ending, I know, I know, they get consumed by power. I guess that's one good thing that my perversion helped with.'

Ddraig: I think we can agree on that, but the Oppai Dragon thing...

Issei: 'Again, I know I...'

Ddraig: No, while it was your perversion, you are not the one that made the show. It was the ones that instigated your perversion, however, you also obtained some concepts about pacifism from them. Your drive for peace was not about women, something that many people cannot understand.

Issei: 'Thanks, Ddraig.'

Ddraig: Don't thank me so soon, we still need to see who is stronger.

Issei: Oh, we will, Vali has to have some new tricks up his sleeves, it's a good thing that I was able to reconcile your beef with Albion.

Ddraig: Which only helped up in using his wyverns, but also developing your Dividing Claw technique, they never saw it coming.

Issei: 'Not only that but Apophis' moves as well, we'll have to experiment on the Dark Field Barrier, what if we can amplify it, so we can use it in a base with live enemies?'
