Shanaya's pov

I was making my way in the corridor when my phone pinged.

I glanced at it to see if it's important or not.

It was Abhi.

He texted something.

"We won't attend any lectures today. Meet me in parking near my bike."

I read the message and sent a thumbs up sign in return.

I quickly made my way to the parking before any faculty sees me.

#AFTER 30 MINUTES#

We both were sitting next to each other in the movie theater.

But before that he gave me a bouquet and two dairy milk silk chocolate to make up my mood.

He was really concerned for me. Again and again he was asking if I was okay or not.

I was...... Let it be. Leave it.

He was looking different today. Not exactly looking but something was off about him.

At first I thought of observing him.

After movie, he took me to a fancy cafe.

I was telling him I don't feel like eating but then he got worried and started insisting me to visit a doctor but no I don't need a doctor. So, I gave up and told him to order something.

Till our order arrived I decided to ask him.

"Abhi, is everything okay?? Something feels off about you." I asked and for a moment he was silent.

"I am okay. You are not." He said avoiding eye contact.

I kept my hand on his.

"Abhi, I am not dumb. Tell me what happened??" Abhi looked at me for a moment before telling me everything.

"Abhi, you shouldn't have talk to your parents like that."

"Why are you behaving like Krish and Tanya?" He asked being a little annoyed as he took his hand back.

"Abhi, they are right. You shouldn't have talked to uncle like that. And on top of that you even lied." I said and Abhi was looking everywhere but me.

"Why are you wasting your money on me---"

"I am not WASTING it." Abhi cleared and I sighed.

But before I could speak something, a thought popped up in my head.

"Wait..... I can use this idea. If I showcase in front of Krish that I am with Abhi just so that he can spend his money on me then Krish will surely do something so that Abhi will automatically break up with me." I thought.

"Ok fine. Leave that topic." I said and Abhi nodded his head.

Our order arrived.

My favourite white sauce pasta, garlic bread and virgin mojito.

AND after that he surprised me with a cheesecake.

He is literally wasting his money. Already this cafe is a bit expensive one. I thought looking at the interior.

"You don't have to make a runny batter. You have to keep it medium."
