CHAPTER 7

"You need to go home later."

It's been one week since the last time I watched UST vs. FEU game for round 1 and it's been a week since I last chatted with Cassie. Sobrang naging busy ako sa Law School and so as her sa trainings and acads niya so we never chatted again.

"I'm too busy with my trainings, Ate." Haves answered coldly and I sigh. Pinapa-uwi ko na siya dahil padating na si Mommy and she wants to see us however, Haves is being hard-headed again, ayaw niyang umuwi.

"Can you please listen to me, just this once?" Napapagod ng tanong ko. Nandito na ako sa condo ko ngayon dahil katatapos lang ng reporting ko and quizzes. Wala na rin naman akong pasok ng 4:00 pm ngayong araw. Sa The Lasallians naman, mga freshies pinapasulat namin para masanay sila, so wala naman ako masyado gagawin aside of studying.

"I'm busy. Bye." I sigh when Haves end the call, mom will arrive later and we have to go home sa bahay so I have to convince him to come with me.

I frustratedly brush my hair using ny fingers as my anxiety starts to build up, tangina. Ano nanaman kaya agenda nito at umuwi pa ng pilipinas?

My phone vibrates so I open the notification. I don't know but I feel the sign of relief and comfort when I saw who it was.

I clicked the photo she sent, it was Reg, Sab, Ate Det, Ate Bianca and Xy. Nasa QPAV sila ngayon halatang si Reg lang nakaka-alam na pinicturan sila ni Cassie dahil nakatingin ito sa camera, nakasimangot at mag kasalubong ang kilay.

I sigh while reading her last message. This time ay talagang hindi ko alam, marami na akong deadlines, dumagdag pang umuwi si mommy, tho I don't know hanggang kailan siya dito pero, still.
