I walked through the door with you. The air was cold, but something about it made it feel like home somehow.

"Welcome to Grimmauld Place. This is where we are meeting for the foreseeable future. Don't make loud noises unless you want to bother Walburga and trust me....nobody wants that. Mind your step." Remus states kindly as if he's said it fifty times already. Tonks hears the message and yet trips on a step that is nearly invisible to the naked eye. "I got you this time, Tonks." Remus said as he caught her, and at that moment she fell in love with the older werewolf in front of her.

And I left my scarf there at Sirius' house and you've still got it in your drawer even now...

"TONKS! You forgot your scarf!!" Remus calls from the door as she makes her way to her patrol shift for the ministry in the snow storm. "Keep it!" she calls back, running headfirst into the snow. She's running so fast she doesn't even notice...she's wearing his sweater.

Oh, your sweet disposition, and my wide-eyed gaze. We're singing in the car, getting lost upstate.

"Remus! Up! Up!! It's time to take the kids to the platform." Mrs. Weasley yells before moving onto Tonk's room. "Tonks. Wake UP. It's time to escort the kids off for the year" She repeats. "I'm up" Tonks responds from downstairs. She had been having tea with Remus and Sirius prior to the interruption. Tonks seemed a bit down to see Sirius but couldn't find it in herself to be mad at him joining due to his relationship with Remus. Remus....the one she liked...maybe even loved?

Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place And I can picture it after all these days

"Hey" Remus says slowly, "You wanna take a walk?" "Yes! I mean, yeah sure" Tonks replies, trying to not be excited.

Tonks opens the door to see Remus kissing Sirius and immediately her heart shatters into tiny little pieces.

Tonks slipped into a major depression from that day forward, avoiding Remus and refusing to change her hair beyond a mousy brown.

Remus sat in regret, not wanting to lose another person he loved. He floo'd the the Tonks residence "DORA. DORA." Remus hollered from the outside "What." Tonks responded "I love you, I'm in love with you. Marry me. Please." Remus begged. "You love me?" Tonks questioned "Yes, I love you. I love the way you change your hair to stand out. I love the way you change your facial features to lighten the mood. I love how clumsy you are yet so talented. I love how brave you are. I love YOU." Remus confessed.
