Lullaby For The Moon

O silver orb in twilight’s grace,
A beacon in the vast night's space.
You drift through skies so dark and deep,
A silent watch where shadows sleep.

Your glow, a tender, soft embrace,
Illuminates the world's still face.
In whispered beams, you weave a song,
A lullaby where dreams belong.

The stars, your choir, hum so sweet,
A cosmic melody they repeat.
Each note a thread in night’s vast loom,
That stitches light into the gloom.

You cradle earth in gentle light,
A guardian through the tranquil night.
With every phase, a tale you spin,
Of endings, and of new begins.

The oceans sway to your command,
In rhythms only they understand.
Your pull, a dance of ebb and flow,
A secret language, soft and slow.

For in your glow, the weary find,
A respite for the troubled mind.
You gather dreams within your beams,
And hold them close, with tender seams.

So sing, sweet moon, your ancient tune,
A lullaby beneath your rune.
For in your light, the night’s cocoon,
We find our peace, beneath the moon.
