Satoru's POV.

This was it. Satoru felt his whole world crashing down around him and watching his best friend walk away from him like he was just nothing to him. Like their friendship was NOTHING. "Are you Satoru Gojo because you're the strongest or are you the strongest because you're Satoru Gojo?" The words. The emotions. Everything was swirling through Satoru's mind. He couldn't break, because he was the strongest. He had to stand strong and not cry because he was the strongest. Yet. He couldn't. Without thinking, Satoru was running through the people. It was like his legs were moving on their own. He didn't want to stop until he was able to reach Suguru. He tried his best to find him through the crowds upon crowds of people. He looked around almost manically trying to see if he saw Suguru anywhere. He hated this feeling, he hated feeling that Suguru hated him, he hated feeling like he wasn't doing enough for Suguru, and even worse he hated not being able to make him happy. Satoru ran his hand through his hair while still frantically looking through the crowd.

"Suguru...Suguru...where'd you go..." He mumbled to himself, he couldn't see him, he couldn't find him, he couldn't sense him. Satoru's heart, soul, and mind felt empty. He was lost without Suguru.

Beep Beep Beep.

Satoru's alarm clock was going off.

It was just another nightmare. Satoru reached his arm out to turn off the alarm, he groaned a bit from waking up, but he couldn't be mad at the fact that he woke up. If he was asleep for any longer he probably would've woken up in a cold sweat. He sat up in his bed and rubbed the tired out of his eyes before picking up his phone. He had a few texts from Suguru. He smiled a little bit just from seeing his name in his notifications. The tension in his heart started to fade when he reminded himself that Suguru was still in his life. They still went to school together and he even pulled Suguru from the darkest part of his mind. Satoru was proud to call Suguru his best friend. His only friend.

"Good morning Satoru♡, I'll be at your dorm in a few hours so please be up this time." Satoru read his best friend's text and smiled more, that's the Suguru Geto he knew and loved. Then he looked at the clock and the time Suguru sent the message. His eyes shot open, it's been three FUCKING HOURS since the text was originally sent. Satoru jumped out of his bed and quickly ran to his bathroom. He moved as fast as he could to get ready. He almost slipped and fell in his bathroom but he caught himself by grabbing his sink.

Satoru was barely together when he bolted out of his bathroom, he quickly pulled open the door to his dorm and was face to face with Suguru. This stopped him in his tracks immediately and slightly looked down at Suguru. He smiled softly, and Suguru did the same. Then he looked down at how Satoru's clothes looked. "You look like you just got out of bed." Suguru teased him while straightening out his uniform for him a bit. Satoru just laughed nervously and let Suguru fix his uniform for him. "Yeah well..." He stopped himself for a moment, he seemed a little embarrassed "I did just get out of bed actually, I tried to move as fast as I could after reading your text and this was the outcome." He looked at the top of Suguru's head while he was still trying to straighten out his uniform. "You sped out of bed just for me?" Suguru asked before looking back up at Satoru again.

"Of course," Satoru responded softly.

"Aww...you shouldn't have," Suguru said sweetly.

The two left out to get to school together. On the walk, Satoru was so full of energy. He was so happy to be able to talk to Suguru and be around him. Suguru just smiled at him but he didn't talk much the whole walk. He was still looking a little rough with the dark bags that were forming under his eyes and he had lost a bit of weight, his hair was a little longer too. Satoru made it his personal goal to get Suguru back to how he used to be, faster, stronger, fitter, everything. He wanted his best friend back. Fully.
