Too deep outside the forest

~ 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐞? ~

The graceful winds blew in as there lies a girl sitting in the grass looking at the water in the lakes. She crawled down and poked at the water to see if any sea animals were there in the olive green water.

After a few minutes, a turtle climbed up from the water and into the grass next to the girl. Who is she?

Her name is Denji (Dehn-jee)
But her original name was Lily, but she didn't like it, so she changed it herself. Even when her parents didn't approve of it, she kept that as her name.

She ran away from home without packing anything. Not even her clothes, not even her phone, nothing.

The only clothes she wore was an olive green tank top and a medium sized slit skirt with a purple anklet around for ankle an old friend gave to her a few years back.

Denji picked up the turtle and a radiant beam came on her face. She placed the turtle back down and laid on her stomach behind the lake and looked at the dreamy sunset.

But seconds later, her beam faded away and got up to take a walk within the forest. Remembering what her old friend told her.

'The world has cruel and selfish monsters in it, promise me you won't turn like them?'

Its true.

People get one look at her and they widen their eyes like a freak just happened to walk by from nowhere.

She brushed that thought off and watched the birds fly around the skies in a flock. Her elegant grin woke up again more when the squirrels, birds, and even butterflies come around.

Denji talks to them like they are real people and she understands them too. She doesn't even know how, but she most likely tells from their expressions or how they act.

Everything and Denji frozen in place as they saw a school near the forest. She forgot what school was like ever since she left home and started to be one with nature with animals. She dropped on all fours and crawled to the nearest car by the school.

She hid behind the vehicle before she could get closer and closer to the school.

As soon as she got close as possible, she looked through the windows to see teachers on their computers and doing paperwork while students are just being wild and throwing paper balls at each other.

She chuckles as she saw one cute girl fighting with some other boy. Not knowing if it was romantic love or just gentle friendliness.

She went to the front of the school and went inside. The office lady wasn't in her chair, she was just talking to some other teachers.

She crawled on all fours to avoid getting caught by anyone or anything. She saw a classroom and looked through the window of the door. The room looked so delightful that she wanted to go in it but cant. The door is locked on the outside.

Her face got disappointing, but she just walked out the door forgetting about the office lady, the office lady was nowhere anymore. The bell ring as soon as she got outside and everyone ran to the doors. Knocking her down. HARD. So hard that her vision got blurry, yet she still got up and growled.

All of a sudden, a girl came up to her and asked;

'Are you ok? I saw you fall and it looked pretty bad.'

Denji didn't know how to answer, but she just nodded because that just wasn't any girl. That was the elegant, beautiful, and cute girl that she saw minutes ago. Not only is she beautiful, but she's caring!

'Y-Yea.. I.. I am fine..!'

She stuttered in her sentence because it's been awhile since she talked to..

how do I say this?

Humans.
People.

She ran back sprinting to the forest and breathed heavily as soon as she made it there. She laid in the grass by the flower and just looked at the sunset once more.

She finally talked to a Human!

I just wanted to say, thank you for 78 reads on my last book:

The Sleepover

It was kinda fun making it without having like a paper without the ideas. I just made them up myself!

I got lazy at the end of Chapter 8 (Total chapters: 10, but the intro and authors note don't count) that's why it was so quick and dry. Sorry! I'm trying to not be so lazy and do more stuff than just be on my phone, but we have been at the stage of GIGANTIC LAZINESS.

But I hope you'll enjoy this book!
