No Trigger warnings for this Chapter, either than occasional swearing.
As Mix and Khao reach the club and instantly have a wave of nostalgia, the hype, the music, and the atmosphere are very youthful, and they are exactly what they need.
They splurged a bit of money to get to a VIP table where they had the ability to sit and drink and be served whatever drinks they wanted.
A waiter went to their table.
" Hello Flamers, is there anything you would like to order tonight?" They asked.
"4 shots of vodka, 2 shots of tequila, a long island with no ice, and a margarita." Mix said.
Khao looked at Mix questionably. "Is that all yours, or am I included?" Khao asked.
Mix then laughed. " Of course you are included; I can't finish all that alone." Mix said gleefully as he indicated to the waiter that they were done ordering.
It only took a few minutes, and then all their drinks were ready. As soon as the drinks got there, Mix took one tequila shot and gave the other to Khao.
"Before we get fucked up, I just want to say I'm very grateful to have you as my friend in this shitty world with shitty husbands. Well, not exactly shitty husbands; they just do shitty things, which are shitty... Well, anyway, today we are drinking and forgetting about our problems."
Mix said as he raised his shot to cling it to Khao's, "And I hope we can get fucked up enough to forget how we got home." Khao said as they took the shot.
Mix fanned himself as he was done. "I feel rusty, but I'm going to get through this." He said it to himself. Khao, on the other hand, didn't seem affected.
As they took the rest of the shots, they got relaxed. "Oh fuck, I think I'm already tipsy; somebody call a cab." Khao said.
"Uhm, no, I will call us a cab when we are literally dragging on the floor." Mix said.
"You are still as wild as you used to be I think I lost touch. Marriage and work really shifted me." Khao said. Mix then turned to his friend. "See, we need to go out as friends more; like, we literally live 5 houses apart, but the last time I saw you was like 2 weeks ago." Mix said.
Mix then stood up and held his hand out. " What?" Khao asked. Mix then grabbed Khao's hand and pulled him off his seat. "We are going to dance. I need my friend from college back, plus this song is lit. I like it a lot. " Mix said.
As they went to dance, they had a lot of fun being in each other's company after a long time of not going out together. After a while, they headed back to their seats in VIP.
"No, I'm done. I can't keep up with you; you have so much energy." Khao said as he laid his head on the seat as if he were sleeping. " Oh no, we are not sleeping at the club." Mix said as he positioned his friend upright once more. "At least let me stay in the chair; my feet are burning," Khao said in a whining manner.
Mix rolled his eyes. "Fine, then I'll go dance alone since my friend is a party-pooper. You are a doctor who's on his feet all day. If you should feel something in those feet, it should be numbness." Mix said as he sipped his drink and left Khao to himself.
Mix, after dancing to himself for a while, bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't watching where I was dancing," the stranger said as he looked at Mix.
They looked at each other for a bit and realised that they knew each other. "I know, I know you, but I just can't pinpoint how." Phuwin said.
"Uhm, wow, we met again, and you don't remember me. I do, and I'm not spoiling how I know you. You need to figure it out yourself." Mix said.
