"I got my letter!"

Draco burst into the room, waving around a thin sheet of paper excitedly.

"Oh, bog off, Draco." Celest groaned as she sat up groggily.

He stuck his tongue out playfully. "I've got yours too!"

"I don't care. Just leave it on the table or something and let me sleep in peace."

The corners of Draco's mouth dipped down slightly, and instead of being good and PUTTING it on the table, he shoved it in her face. "Wake up!" He said.

"Fine!" Celest pulled out a letter from the piece of yellowish envelope.

Lucius tapped the brick wall of the Leaky Cauldron thrice with the tip of his wand.

The brick he had touched quivered – it wriggled – in the middle, a small hole appeared – it grew wider and wider – a second later they were facing a large archway into a cobbled street that twisted and turned out of sight. They stepped through the archway.

The sun shone brightly on a stack of cauldrons outside the nearest shop. Cauldrons – All Sizes – Copper, Brass, Pewter, Silver – Self-Stirring – Collapsible, said a sign hanging over them.

"I'll go to Gringotts first. You go buy the materials first." Lucius told Narcissa.

A plump woman outside an Apothecary was shaking her head as they passed, saying, "Dragon liver, seventeen Sickles an ounce, they're mad...."

A low, soft hooting came from a dark shop with a sign saying Eeylops Owl Emporium – Tawny, Screech, Barn, Brown, and Snowy. As they passed Quality Quidditch Supplies, Draco seemed to float towards it. "The new Nimbus Two Thousand – fastest ever !" He told Celest as she pretended to be interested.
