Water Balloons

For some reason, almost everyone decided to wake up at 3 am and play games,eat, watch tv.

Up until Kai got up and suggested to swim.

"Thats a great idea! I bought water balloons!" Jay says "Girls vs Boys?" Cole asks "Game on!" Nya says.

We all get changed, fill the water balloons with water and jump in the pool.

The fight began. The boys were basically just jumping in the spots that were near us for a splash.

As for us girls, we decide to target them one by one.

And of course, they gave me Lloyd to deal with.

I grab water balloons and throw them at anyone but mainly bombing Lloyd.

I see Lloyd get out of the pool an try to get in through a different entry.

I follow him easily until he sees me preparing to throw the balloon at him

"Wait! Hold on! It hurts" he says trying to save himself. "Sure it does" I say throwing the balloon at him.

He jumps in and I jump in after him.
I didn't realize that I landed infront of him and he's behind me.

I get up from underwater and immediately he grabs me from behind and throws me under the water again.

I get back up, laughing. I grab another balloon to throw at him and miss.

Instead it lands on Zane and now I'm his target.

~AFTER THEY SWIM~

"Hey Rumi" Jay says walking in the girls room "Hi Jay, whats up?" I ask brushing my hair "I saw you and Lloyd, did you guys have fun?" he asks I know where this is going.

"Did Nya put you up to this?" I ask, seriously? They could have done so much better.

"Yeah, she wanted me to convince you to hang out with Lloyd more" Jay says "She has a point though" Jay says sing-songly "What do you mean?" I ask playfully rolling my eyes "Besides us, he has no friends. His mom in barely around and his dad turned to a life of crime a little after he was born" Jay explains "Oh... I didn't know" I say.

I didn't know he was living such a sad life.

"I mean, I guess I do kinda talk to him.." I say "Really?! Thats great because he's downstairs right now so, uh- You should play some pool!" Jay says dragging me downstairs.

Once we get down, he brings to the pool table where Lloyd is currently playing alone.

"Oh, Lloyd! Look at that! You have someone to play with!" Jay says. "Okay, so- Have fun, Lovebirds!" he says quickly leaving, probably knowing there'd be a little consequences to what he said.

After a slight moment of awkward silence, he talks. "You play?" he asks, givng me a stick (idk what its called, sorry) "Y-Yeah, Cole taught me at the mall." I reply.

We play for a little while, we just sit on the table and talk.

"Stranger Things? Omg, I love that show!" I say "Cool, who's your favorite?" he asks "probably Nancy. But not gonna lie, I find Will pretty hot." I say a bit embarrassed "Well, I find Nancy hot sooo" he says looking around and I giggle in response.

After talking a little more, I realize we have plenty in common.

We both had this crazy obsession with Harry Potter growing up and loved How to train your dragon aswell.

"Do you have discord? I have to send you this video." I say "Yeah, sure" he says giving me his phone with discord open.

And with that, Lloyd Garmadon is officially my friend.

I wonder what he thinks of me.
