Now it's morning. Arayan got up at 6:30 just to drop Anaya at school. He quickly did his morning routine and got ready in normal casual clothes. He checked the time and saw that it was already 7:30. He literally took 1 hour to get ready just to drop Anaya at school.

He went downstairs and saw that his mother was instructing the maids to do their work. He went to his mother and sat at the dining table. His mother got shocked seeing him there.

Mrs. Khan: Hey! What are you doing here at this hour?
Arayan: I am here to drop Anaya at her school. By the way, where is she? I didn't see her anywhere. Isn't she ready yet? I should call--

Mrs. Khan cut him off saying, "Today is a holiday. Her school is off. That's why she is sleeping now. She will get up after 11."

Arayan's jaw was on the floor hearing this. Last night he left Anaya's room at 3 a.m. just to get up early and drop her at school. But to his bad luck, today is Saturday and her school is off.

He wanted to impress her by showing that she is so important to him. He knows that Anaya thinks that he is doing all this just because Anaya is his mother's friend's daughter. But in reality, he is doing all this to show his affection towards her.

Arayan looked at his mom and said, "Now what will I do? Ruhi is also sleeping. It's only 7:40. Anaya will get up at freaking 11 o'clock."
Mrs. Khan chuckled seeing her son whining.

She softly ruffled his hair and said, "Spend some time with your mother, brat! All the time you are behind Anaya or working from home. You don't even care about your one and only mother." Mrs. Khan faked a sad voice.

Arayan: How can I forget my one and only mother? She is my world. She is the one who gets me whatever I want.

Mrs. Khan: Yes, yes. That's why I chose Anaya for you because I know how much you love her.

Arayan: That's why you are the best mom! (said hugging) Mrs. Khan also hugged him back and said, "But son, remember she is the most precious thing to her family. Don't ever hurt her. Her brother wasn't happy with that marriage. That's why he went to Australia not to witness Anaya's wedding. So he can do anything to separate you and Anaya if you ever hurt her. Although she is so innocent to be hurt. So I am requesting you, son, don't ever hurt her."

Arayan was listening to all this carefully and says, "Mom, I know that bas-- I mean her brother doesn't like me. I knew that from our wedding when he suddenly went to Australia without even telling anyone and he still doesn't come here. Huh, so bold of him to assume that just doing these things her parents will separate me and Anaya. His father and mother trust me more than him. They won't do anything like this."

Mrs. Khan: Yes, Haya (Anaya's mother) will never do something like that. I've known her since childhood. We are best friends. And Anaya's father is also so understanding and a good person. He knows what is good for his daughter, unlike Aashiq (Anaya's brother) who can't understand good things.
Arayan: Yes, that Aashiq will surely be a pain in the neck. Mrs. Khan: You should call him brother. He is your wife's brother, more than that he is older than you. Arayan: Brother my foot! I will never call him "Brother." Mrs. Khan: Oh... Bad manners. Look how Anaya calls you brother because you are older than her. You should also call Aashiq brother. (Mrs. Khan said and chuckled knowing that her son would be whining now) Arayan: Mom! Stop it! I am not her "brother". I am her husband. Mrs. Khan chuckled and said, "Okay, okay, now Anaya's husband, go and sit on the sofa. I am bringing your coffee."
Now it is 11 o'clock and Anaya still didn't come downstairs to have breakfast. And here Arayan was losing patience. Mrs. Khan was doing house chores and Arayan was sitting on the sofa doing his work from home. Suddenly Ruhi came to the living room and exclaimed, "Oh, brother, what are you doing here this morning?"
Arayan looked at her with annoyed eyes and replied, "Because you guys are sleeping all day and night." Ruhi: Why are you so irritated, huh? Anaya is sleeping. She goes to school 5 days a week. She has to get up early in the morning every day. So let her sleep today at least. Arayan: I know that's why I didn't wake her up yet. But it's too much now. It's been 3 hours and I'm still waiting for her. Ruhi: Desperate dog (Ruhi mumbled under her breath)
That's when Anaya came downstairs while rubbing her eyes. She went towards the dining table. Arayan quickly got up from the sofa and slowly ran towards her. Arayan: Good morning, Butterfly. Anaya: Huh? Oh. Good morning, Bhaiya. Arayan grinned and said, "You don't have to call me brother." Anaya: So what should I call you then? Uncle? (She asked innocently) Arayan: What! No. You don't have to call me brother or uncle. Just call me by my name. Or call me hubby. (He mumbled the last sentence in his mind) Anaya: How can I call you by your name? You are older than me and my mom taught me that we shouldn't call elders by their name.
Arayan is now irritated but he is not angry at Anaya. Arayan: B.U.T.T.E.R.F.L.Y JUST DO AS I SAY. Okay?! Anaya got scared and immediately looked down while nodding her head. Arayan: I need words. Anaya: Okay. (She said in a low voice while looking down)
That's when Mrs. Khan came to the dining table to prepare it for breakfast. Anaya quickly ran towards Mrs. Khan and hugged her. Mrs. Khan hugged her back and said: Mrs. Khan: Good morning, my little baby. Anaya didn't say anything, just kept hugging her. Mrs. Khan: Now sit with Arayan and have your breakfast. He has been waiting for you since morning. Anaya got more scared and said, "No, I will sit with you" while hugging Mrs. Khan. Mrs. Khan's brows knitted in confusion and she asked, "Why? Tell your mom." Anaya: Please, I wanna sit with you. (She said whining and sniffling)
Arayan was seeing all this and he knew he messed up badly. He shouldn't have been so strict with her. His mother already told him she was oversensitive. And now he has to do something to make her comfortable with him again.
Mrs. Khan: Okay, okay, sit with me. (She said while pulling Anaya from the hug, but she saw that Anaya's whole face was red. And she already understands that Arayan did something) Mrs. Khan: Now sit here. I am going to call Ruhi. After that, we will have breakfast. Hmm? Anaya nodded while looking down, sitting on the chair.
Arayan was trying to talk with her but he also knew that if he tries to talk with her now she might cry. That's why he didn't say anything and sat on the opposite side of Anaya.
Mrs. Khan came with Ruhi and sat with Anaya. They all had their breakfast silently because Anaya didn't utter a single word. After finishing her breakfast, she quickly got up from her seat and ran towards her room. Arayan saw that and felt guilty for being strict with her.
Mrs. Khan: I alreapdy told you, Arayan, that she is oversensitive. She can't handle hardness. Arayan: Yeah, I know. Don't worry, I will make it up. (He said standing up from his seat)
