CHAPTER FOUR

I can't without my credit card and also my car when Dad found out what happened he grounded me and also Alexis. Buong araw hindi lumabas ng kanyang kwarto si Alexis sinubukan siyang dalhan ni manang Celine ng pagkain sa kanyang kwarto pero tinanggihan niya iyon. I stood up and open my laptop and find a rented apartment. I can't afford to stay in Hotel because Dad still not giving back all my credits.

" Garden Apartment, 20k down-payment and 15k a months. This is cool and not so far in my school. I can afford this.." kaagad akong nag-message sa owner ng apartment at saglit pa ay nag respond siya sa message ko.

Kaagad akong naligo at nagsuot nang denim pants and white top. I also wear my favorite prada heels and then sneak out of my room. Napatingin ako sa kwarto ni Alexis may nakalagay na signboard sa pintuan niya ' Do Not Disturb ' hinayaan ko nalang siya at saka nag book ng uber online. Nakarating na ako sa Garden Apartment at sinalubong ako ng middle-aged na babae.

" Good morning. I'm Elena the owner of this apartment and you must be Amara Salazar ? " tumango ako sa kanya. Maramimg mga magagandang bulaklak sa paligid ng apartment at iyon marahil ang dahilan kung bakit Garden apartment ang pangalan nito.

" I like this place. " napangiti naman ang owner at saka sumakay na kami sa elevator at pinindot niya ang seventh floor ng apartment. This apartment has a 24th floor.  Nang tumigil ang elevator ay lumabas maraming magagandang hanging flowers ang makikita sa hallway.

" This is you're room. As you can see this room has a complete furnitures and appliance you can add anything if you want. In this apartment you can call the reception if you need a cleaner or a cook. This is the kitchen and besides the bathroom, there is the  salas and you're room." tumango-tango ako habang iginagala ang paningin sa kabuuan ng apartment.

" Not bad. So this is my down-payment and I moved here right now. " tinanggap niya ang envelope at saka lumabas nang kwarto.

Hinawi ko ang kurtina at bumungad sa akin ang garden na merong magagandang halaman. Pumasok ako sa kwarto at nakita ko ang master bedroom, merong bedside table both side and the wooden wardrobe and also a there also a study table beside it are the bookshelf.

" Finally found my safe place and peace. I love this place," my phone suddenly beep so I took it and answer the call.

'  Amara when you gonna listen to me. I told you not to leave the house but still you leave! '

" I rented apartment nearby and I moved here today. I'm really really sorry Dad." I ended the call and decided to go back home to pack my stuff.

I entered the elevator. I received another from Dad but I ignored it until the elevator open a man wearing a mask enter . My phone beep again and Darcy call me but I didn't answer it. I want a peace of mind. Nakarating ako sa lobby at kaagad nag-book ng uber at nagpahatid sa bahay namin. Nang makabalik sa bahay ay bumungad sakin ang masamang tingin ni daddy.

" Dad.." napabuntong hininga siya at saka ipinatong sa lower table ang mga credit card ko at ang susi nang kotse ko.

" You want to live on your own. When you leave this house forget that you have a father Amara. Go live your own and don't ever to comeback here. I don't want to see in this house again." after saying those words he left me alone stunned.

That night. I stayed in my apartment and now I know how to live alone. Umorder nalang ako ng pagkain sa online dahil hindi naman ako marunong magluto, hotdog is the only food I know to cook. Kinalimutan ko muna ang mga isipin at saka natulog dahil maaga pa akong papasok bukas.
