"She wants to see you Summer. Lando stayed over last night and settled her down when I couldn't. They both fell asleep in her bed. Lando was too big for the bed though so he didn't stat asleep for too long. She woke up a few times asking for you"

"I strongly believe your daughter needs a bigger bed" Lando chimes in, standing next to me staring down at the screen looking at a very sick looking Summer "Summer, my bestie, how are you feeling?"

"About the same as I look given your face" she says back with a smile small "how about I buy her a new bed, that way I can fit on it tonight" Summer shakes her head "Lan, you don't need to buy her anything. Being there is more than enough. And if needed she can sleep in the bed with Charles, or the spare room."

"Daniel has taken up residency in the spare room by the looks of it" Summer rolls her eyes at Landos comment. "Can she see you today? We can set you outside so she's not in the hospital and have Lando bring her by, that way they can go and I can stay with you" I say changing the topic. "I don't know Charles, I don't want her to see me this way"

Lando walks away, giving us some privacy as he goes to find Jules. "Shes already seen you this way Sum, it's just been over the phone." Summer sighs and nods "I'll see if I can get the nurses to let me outside for a hour or two so you can bring her, maybe bring Lando just incase. My treatment starts in half a hour, I should be done around 3. Maybe around 4 bring her, I'll double check though"

"If you're not up for it, don't push it love, it can wait another day. We are all surviving. It's mid season break, Oscar and Daniel aren't due to go back until later next week. Lando is still here for another 2-3 weeks. We can do it another day"

"Charles. I need to see my baby, even you said it yourself, she needs to see me in person. Bring her after my treatment"

"Did you want me there for your treatment?" I ask very hesitant. Yesterday's treatment was the first treatment, and it wasn't too bad. They said today would be worse.

"Stay with our baby today, bring her later this afternoon, and sit with me through treatment tomorrow. Hang on a second" she says as I hear another voice enter the conversation. Summer mutes herself, clearly talking to a nurse or a doctor. After a few minutes Summer unmutes herself. "I have to get going for treatment, but bring her around 4. I'll meet you outside in the gardens, bring Lando, and Daniel if he wants to come, he's been bugging me all week about seeing me. I love you Charles"

She doesn't give me the chance to reply before hanging up. "Lando, Daniel, get in here" I say making my way to the fridge to get the milk out for a coffee. Lando comes in first, with Jules closely behind him. "Hi peanut" I say dropping down to her level, gesturing for a hug. I bring her into my embrace and give her a tight squeeze "morning daddy" she says with a small yawn "still tired my love? How about you go sit on the lounge and watch bluey, we will join you shortly okay?" She nods as she makes her way to the lounge. Lando follows her and turns the TV on for her, switching on bluey for her to watch.

"Mum! Da da da da da da da da. Dad!" She says singing along to the theme song. "BINGO!" She yells very loudly. Daniel walks in looking very confused. "BLUEY!" She yells as the theme song comes to an end "ah bluey" he nods, finally understanding what the yelling is about.

"Summer has agreed to see Jules today, I just don't want to get her hopes up incase it's a bad treatment session. So please don't mention it to her. You are both more than welcome to come and see Summer with us, it was suggested that Lando comes with us, and Summer said for Daniel to come too so you stop bugging her." Daniel looks at me with his cheeky smirk, knowing full well what I'm talking about "her words not mine mate"

"Have you spoken to Oscar?" Daniel questions. "Nah not today, why?" I respond back.

"Little shit. He was suppose to ask you last night" Daniel shakes his head in annoyance. Lando starts to pull out stuff to make Jules breakfast since I haven't started that yet. I look over at her, and she's still wide eyed watching one of her favourite episodes of bluey. "His parents wanted you and Jules to go over for lunch today, they miss seeing the little one. And of course you, but let's be real, mainly the little one" I roll my eyes.

"Of course he forgot to tell us that. We can still go over for lunch, we will just go to the hospital from there, I think they live around the corner from the hospital still"

Whats this about a lunch today ?

Ah fuck. I knew I forgot something. The parents really miss seeing Julie, so they asked if you would like to come over for lunch, Tweedledumb and tweedledumber included. For some reason they absolutely adore Lando.

Your parents are weird for adoring him. But I shall tell tweedledumb and tweedledumber we will be there for lunch. We are going to take Jules to the hospital afterwards to see Sum.

Will tell the parents. See you later mate.

"Tweedledumb, tweedledumber, you are both invited to lunch at Oscars parents house as well" I say as Lando finishes plating up eggs and toast for Julie. "Bug, time for breakfast. Uncle Lando made it just for you, and none for daddy or Uncle Daniel" Lando walks past me and proceeds to hit me on the chest "little lady gets fed first. The adults can make food for themselves" he says as places the plate of food on Jules high chair. He proceeds to pick Jules up and places her in the high chair and takes a seat next to her at the table.

"Wait, who is tweedledumb and who is tweedledumber?" Daniel questions as Lando just shakes his head "I think that answers your question" he says in return. I turn on the stove and proceed to make us all fried eggs, while Daniel puts bread in the toaster.

"It's a nice day, how about we walk to Oscars parents house?" I say to the boys who are finishing getting ready. Julie is sitting quietly on the lounge, sitting happily while she watches her Uncles get ready. "Did you grab a spare change of clothes for her?" Daniel says as he stands up and makes his way to the dining table. "Yup" I say popping the p "you act like this is my first outing with her without Summer"

"That's because you haven't really. It's always been you and Summer and Jules. Now it's you and Jules plus us occasionally."

"I am thankful for you guys, I really am, but there are somethings I can do with her by myself, like pack spare clothes" I say as I go through her bag, where there are no spare clothes. Lando comes out of her room holding up a set of clothes "you mean these spare clothes that were still sitting on her bed" I facepalm myself "point proven" Daniel says as Lando hands me the clothes.
