1 - Upgrade

It was the day.
"You've packed everything?" My mom asked.

"Yes, im positive!" I replied, confidently.

"Alright then, have fun and take care of yourself out there dal." She caressed my head.

I nodded, softly smiling as i went for a hug.

I walked through the gates after bidding my mom a one last goodbye.

I'm headed to the states alone.

I'm headed there for work. I've recently started working with a boy group whos going around the globe.
They're a famous kpop group that consists of 7 members, the group is called enhypen.

The agency had contacted me and i happily accepted the offer to work with them since enhypen are one of the few people who i looked up to working with as its the group my little sister love.

I've never flown so far away alone before so this was a first.
I'm fine with it but my mom seems to be the one who's extremely worried about me. She treats me like a child even though i'm 23.

Quite young right?

It's such an honor having the opportunity to be working in this industry as a translator at this young of an age but it could also get quite very tiring. However, it's also fun cause i get to travel like this.

I entered the airplane and showed the flight attendant my ticket before they pointed me the direction to my seat.
I walked through the aisle as i searched for my seat, moving my head left and right.

I was glad upon finding my seat but then i was surprised to see a person sitting there.

"Excuse me?" I called.

The man looked at me with a blank stare then tilted his head indicating that he was waiting for me to say something.

"Im sorry but im pretty sure this is my seat?"
I politely assured the man.

"And?" He chuckled, annoyingly.

At this point, he was already getting on my nerves.

"Do the math genius. Its my seat and im supposed to be the one sitting there since its my seat which was not paid with your money."

The man chuckled again.

"Relax girl, go find another seat or exchange with mine." He rolls his eyes.

I scoffed, eyes fixed on him.

"Excuse me?" I frowned.

A female flight attendant then came over and asked me about the situation here.
I explained everything to her and she quickly understood.

"Excuse me sir, may i check your boarding pass please?" She asked and the man handed it over.

"Im sorry sir, but im afraid you are currently sitting at the wrong seat. This is not your seat." She said, handing the boarding pass back over to the man.
