chapter 2

It was around fall time. The weather was nice and me and my friends ari and kara was going to the beach so we made plans that summer and left September 28th. The weather was amazing the breeze above the water felt really good when we arrived there wasn't bout about 180 people there so still a lot but not as much as there could have been. When I stepped foot in the water a wave dragged me under for a few seconds. It scared me for a little bit but after awhile I got used to the water. The beach had white sand and blue clear water but very salty. Ari decided to go get some ice cream and kara got in the water. When we got to the deeper end there was an adult trying to drown there child around age of 7 we couldn't do anything we tried the guy pointed a gun at us. First off why is there a guy with a gun in water sounds stupid I guess. Why is he drowning child and y is he in the ocean doing it. So when I got out of the water around three minutes later I called Ari and told her to call 911 because what was happening. Ari called the police and they arrested the guy but sadly they couldn't save the kid so we left the ocean because we didn't want to have anything to do with the investigation process. Ari got us all mint ice creams they tasted amazing. But we forgot kara was lactose intolerant so we had to go to the nearest hospital. She was ok but a little messed up.
