Malaika Abebe just moved from the bronx, New York with her mother Zuri Abebe to live with her Grandmother in a rich town named Woodcrest.
Zuri divorced her husband of 20 years for cheating and abuse; he was corporate man but after work he was a block man. Zuri is a high requested lawyer, after the divorce was final and she got full custody of Malaika she was contacted by her mother for them to come stay with her. Zuri requested for a transfer for her job and school for her daughter. Both were approved
