[Platonic | Fluff/random]

You were walking through the stretch of sewer leading to the turtles' lair. It was their annual game night and they had invited both you and April to hang out as well.

You finally entered the lair and heard someone shout 'Aw man! No!' While the sound of crashing blocks echoed along with exclaims from a few other voices.

You chuckled to yourself as you walked towards the noise, 'wonder who just lost.' You thought as you poked your head into the lit up room where you saw the group sitting around the table with a pile of Jenga blocks cluttered on top of it.

Leo had his arm wrapped around Mikey's shoulder with a grin spread across the slider's face, "Maybe you'll win the next round little brother." Mikey crossed his arms and huffed before spotting you, the pout leaving his face as he waved, "Hi, Y/n!" He shouted, making everyone else look over in your direction.

"Ah, greetings, Y/n." Donnie spoke, giving you a small wave. You returned it and Raph spoke next, "Hey! Glad you could make it!"

"Glad to be here, thanks for inviting me guys." You replied, moving to sit down on the couch next to Bea, who nudged your shoulder with her own, "Did you bring the family wreckin' game?" The wood turtle asked with a grin.

"Bea, don't call it that." Cyn said, rolling her eyes but a small grin also made its way onto her face. "But, did ya bring it, Y/n?" You nodded, reaching into the backpack you had brought with you.

"'Course I did. What kind of friend would I be if I didn't?" You replied, returning the mischievous smile as you brought out a box of Monopoly. April started shaking her head slightly when she saw it, "Oh boy..." she muttered.

You snickered at her reaction, "And knowing you guys this'll be even more chaotic than me and April's family playing."

You all cleared the table, set up the game and picked pieces, and about 30 minutes later...

"I HATE YOU!!!"

"OH?! WELL NEXT TIME DON'T STEAL MY MONOPOLY!" Leo and Donnie were at each other's throats as the rest of you watched. You and April were trying to hold in your laughter as Raph sighed and held the two teens apart.

"Leo, give Donnie your 200 dollars, you landed on his property."

"No! He's in jail! I'm not gonna give money to a criminal!" Leo shouted, crossing his arms over his plastron and puffing out his chest.

"THAT'S NOT HOW YOU PLAY YOU IDIOT!!" Donnie shouted back, throwing his hands into the air. April leaned against your shoulder holding her stomach as her shoulders shook with her quieted laughter.

You had to say, you'd never seen something like this happen before. And to think it was over a game. I mean, you didn't call Monopoly 'the family wrecking game' for nothing.

Leo grabbed a pillow from the couch and mashed his face into it letting out a high pitched shriek. This was the last straw for you and April as you both collapsed into each other letting out the loud laughter that you had been holding in with Bea joining in. Seeing her brothers like this always made her laugh (as long as it was light hearted and didn't turn into something larger of course). Raph face-palmed and sighed, "Maybe we should call off this game."

You caught your breath and between small giggles you agreed, "Yeah-yeah, we probably should." You and April caught your breath before Raph and Cyn suggested a calmer game that, thankfully, didn't result in any feuds.

Once it hit about 11:30, you and April decided to head home. You said your goodbyes and packed the games that you brought from home.

You both had decided to walk home since you lived close to each other and a small conversation had sparked between you two.

"So, y'know that project we have in photography?" (I dunno-April kinda seems like the person to have that class lol. Sorry if it's not something you'd have -v-') You asked, glancing at her. She hummed and gave you a small nod, "Yeah. What about it?"

"I was thinking of using some pics near the sewers." You continued, "I think some of the plants that grow near the grates are kinda pretty. And if you get the right lighting, it looks really cool."

"Yeah! That sounds neat Y/n!" She replied, giving you a smile. You smiled back and the conversation continued from there, going all over the place before you made it back to your own apartment complex.

"See you later, Y/n! Goodnight!" April waved at you as you entered the building.

"Night, April!" You waved back and entered the dimly lit building.
