Chapter 5

Jess' POV

Dean and John had finally caught the demon and the doctor thinks Sam is gonna wake up anytime now.

Dean walks into Sam's room with John with coffee for everyone. John hands me a coffee and I thank him, giving him a small smile.

"Hey Jess, can I talk to you outside for a second?" He asks.

"Sure!" I reply.

"You gonna be okay?" Dean asks.

"I'll be fine, Dean. He's gonna be my father-in-law at some point, there's no point in being afraid of him!" I reply.

John holds the door open for me and closes it behind him, "So, I hear you and Sam are giving me a baby girl." He says.

"Yeah, I decided on the name Dana Mary Winchester." I reply, smiling.

"I'm happy for you and Sam. I mean, Dean and Lisa are getting married next month and I'm getting 2 granddaughters soon. I couldn't be happier, now if Sam would only wake up." He states.

"Yeah, I'm really happy to hear-" I start, but I'm cut off by Dean.

"Guys, he's awake!" Dean states.

We rush into the room to see that Sam is sitting up and he smiles when he sees me and John.

"Jess, come over here!" Sam says.

I walk over to his bed and bend down to give him a kiss. He deepens the kiss before pulling away.

"Hey babe, what's up?" He asks with a smile on his face.

"Sam, Dean and I need to talk to you, alone." I tell him.

"Okay." He says wearily.

Bobby, John, Lisa, and Ben all exit the room. We both take a seat on either side of Sam's bed.

"So, what did you need to talk to me about?" Sam asks.

"Um, I'll tell you the good news first. I'm pregnant with a baby girl. What do you think of the name Dana Mary Winchester?" I ask.

"I love it, I can't wait to meet her." He says.

"What's the other news?" He asks.

"Sammy, Jess did something serious while you were asleep. It could've harmed the baby, but fortunately I caught her early enough so it did no harm to her or the baby." Dean tells him.

"Jess, what did you do?" Sam asks.

"I, um-" I try to say something, but I just can't get the words to come out.

"Sam, she self-harmed!" Dean says for me.

"Jess, why would you- I don't understand why you would do something like that, ever." Sam says, stunned.

"Are you ashamed of me? Embarrassed of me?" I ask.

"What? No, of course not! Why would I be ashamed or embarrassed of you? I'm just a bit upset is all. I wish I could of helped you, but I'm glad Dean was here to help when I couldn't." He replies, taking my hand in his and squeezing it in a comforting manner and giving me a comforting smile.

"I'm sorry, Sam." I apologize.

"You don't need to apologize for anything. I'm here now and I'm gonna help you get better!" He assures me.

Suddenly, someone else enters the room.

"Who's this?" Sam asks.

"Oh, this is your half brother, Adam." John introduces him.

"It's nice to meet you, Adam. I'm Jessica Lee Moore, Sam Winchester's fiancee." I introduce myself.

"Wait, when did you get the ring?" Sam asks, confused.

"Dean gave it to me!" I reply.

"Oh!" He says.

"Hi Adam, I'm Lisa Fay Braeden, Dean Winchester's fiance. And this is our son, Benjamin Isaac Braeden." Lisa introduces herself and Ben.

"I'm Samuel John Winchester, but I go by Sam." Sam introduces himself.

"And I'm Dean Matthew Winchester." Dean introduces himself.

"Well, I'm Adam Eric Milligan. I'm Dean and Sam Winchester's half brother and John Winchester's other son." He introduces himself.

We all get to know Adam and then Sam says he needs to talk to Dean alone. We all exit the room, but Sam calls me over before I leave.

"I want you to get to know Adam, considering he is family. We'll spend some quality time soon! I love you, Jess." He says.

"I love you, Sam!" I tell him, pecking him on the lips.

We exit the room and give Sam and Dean some private brother bonding time.

Sam's POV

"How is Jess doing, really?" I ask.

"She was in pretty rough shape but hopefully her mood and mental state will improve now that you're awake." He replies.

"Are you excited to marry Lisa?" I ask him, knowing my brother is getting married soon.

"I'm really excited, Ben is too. Lis won't stop talking about it, not that I'm complaining. I love her, Sam, I really do!" He says.

"I'm glad, I'm really happy for you, Dean. I honestly truly am, I never thought I would be alive to get married or to even have kids. I'm really proud of you, Dean." I tell him.

"Thanks Sammy, I'm proud of you too! I mean you're marrying Jess and you have a baby girl on the way!" He states.

"Thanks Dean, that means a lot." I tell him.

"What are you thinking about?" I ask.

"Sam, I just can't wait for my daughter to be born. And I can't wait for Lisa to be mine forever. I love Lisa and Ben so much. I'm so in love with Sammie and she's not even born yet! I just love my life right now. I'm getting married in a few weeks and I have a daughter on the way. I'm just happy right now, Sammy!" He tells me.

"Wow, I'm really happy for you, Dean! Why don't you go get the girls?" I ask.

"Alright, I'll go get the girls!" He says.

He exits the room and goes and gets the girls.

Dean's POV

I sneak up behind Lisa, moving her hair to the side. I wrap my arms around her waist and start kissing her neck.

"Hey babe!" I mumble against her skin.

"Hey!" She greets me with a giggle.

I go to stand beside her, my arms still wrapped around her waist.

"You guys ready for us to come back?" Jess asks.

"Yup, I'm ready to go back in whenever you guys are." I reply.

We head back to Sam's room where Jess joins him in bed. I keep Lisa by my side for the rest of the night and Ben ended up falling asleep in dad's arms. Dad says he's going to head over to our house with Bobby and tuck Ben into bed. He said Ben should sleep in his own bed tonight after sleeping in that hospital bed for weeks. Lisa heads home shortly after and I decide to stay with Sam and Jess. I fall asleep sometime throughout the night.
