"And you're sure that you want to leave SM Town?" Lee SooMan questioned standing in the city center with all his men surrounding him.

"Yes, Mr Lee," Kun replied standing beside his car with an eight year old toddler holding on to his finger, "After the incident, Chenle only has me. I have to raise him like his parents would have. I am sorry."

"If you ever change your mind, I will be waiting for you."

"I will not be..."

"Kun ge...Gun?" Chenle interrupted pointing at a toy shop with fake weapons.

"Okay Lele. Let's go," Kun said carrying him into the store.

"So, you have to fill up the career that you want to take on in uni, today."

"Dad... I remember everything that happened 10 years ago clearly, and I'm not changing my mind. I want to be a killer," Chenle said with surety in his voice. He was tired of Kun asking him again as if he didn't understand what he wanted.

Chenle remembered every moment of it so vividly. Back then he loved heights, especially when it came to sleeping on the top of the bunk bed. His older step brother on the other hand, slept at the bottom of the bunk bed. He remembered waking up to use the restroom but he couldn't see anything, the whole room was suffocating and misty with smoke. The only thing he felt was the heat of red hell fire lick blisters onto his young skin and the crackling wobble of his bed.

"Help! Help!" Mrs Zhong screamed in torture.

"Mommy!" Chenle yelled fearfully, "Daddy!"

Immediately, he was thrown out through the window from his bed which had lost one leg to the fire. He weakly lay on the black grass, with glass wounds in his back, crying for his parents and his brother in the dark night. His skin cried blood with him. He could here their loud wails of pain and torment in his house. And before falling unconscious, he saw his brother screaming weakly, tapping the glass for help with the back of his hand patched with a dark burn.

"B-b-brother!"

"Tonight, the flames have cleansed my path to power. With their ashes scattered to the wind, no one remains to challenge my reign. This world is mine, and so is its fear!" a deep voice announced scornfully.

"I'm hungry for vengeance, Dad. And I will do whatever it takes to perfectly kill that man who took everything from me, even if you don't help me!"

"Fine then. Be stubborn, I don't have time for it," Kun replied with a frustrated sigh.

Chenle stomped away to eat his cereal while watching TV on the couch as usual. Except today, Kun forced him to watch Thai news. There was nothing on his mind, it was just the obvious flirting behind him in the kitchen which his dad, Kun and YangYang tried to hide from him. He thought it was absolutely ridiculous.

"Stop it Kun," YangYang whispered whilst being pinned against the counter, "Isn't it almost time for your work?"

"It is..." Kun said pulling his face in for a deep kiss.

"And Chenle?" YangYang asked pulling back.

"He finally told me that he wants to be an assassin and honestly I don't know if I should be proud or disappointed."

"You'll figure it out... And you really have to get to work."

"There's a few minutes left," Kun hissed kissing the other's neck earning silent whimpers until they heard small footsteps coming in.
