Adrian became my Mumma's favourite in an instant.

It was as if she loved him more than she loved both me and Papa combined.

"Your sandwiches are the best aunty." He said as he chewed on the one he was eating right now.

I was still on my 1st sandwich while this was his 4th.

How much does this guy eat?

And how tf is he still so tiny?

"Thank you darling, you can have as many as you want."
Mumma said happily.

Apparently grandma had to go out of town yesterday night and my Mumma asked him to stay over.

He refused as he didn't want to cause trouble for her.

Thank God.

But upon my mother's insistence, he agreed to have breakfast with us.

I looked at the wall clock and saw it was the time for the bus to arrive.

The thought of it filled me with dread.

Both me and Adrian will board the bus together.

By now, everyone in the school knows of the tragedy.

I looked at Adrian to give him one of my deadliest death glares when I noticed him genuinely enjoying the sandwich.

His face was stuffed and his cheeks made him look adorable.

He had this natural blush that made him look like a cute baby tomato.

I don't know why but I suddenly forgot about my anger.

My stomach felt weird and-

"SOPHIA! THE BUS IS HERE! YOU TWO SHOULD GET GOING!"

I quickly grabbed my bag and ran out the door.

Everyone's eyes shifted to us when me and Adrian got on the bus.

I kept my eyes on the floor and quickly took a seat at corner.

After a few stops Piper boarded the bus and spotted me.

We sat together at the corner seat and gossiped about random stuff.

I don't know why but I would find myself looking for Adrian randomly and the moment I laid my eyes on him, my stomach would start feeling...... weird.

Maybe I am about to puke because he looks so damn ugly.

I just hope Piper didn't notice it.

"I hope you are done gawking at Adrian because we need to get down the bus now."

Of course she noticed it. Everyone is hell bent on making my life miserable.

After giving her a smack on the head, Piper and I parted ways to go to our respective classes.

Throughout the day I stepped on Adrian's shoes thrice.

Adrian spilled water on me accidentally.

I snitched to Mrs. Penelope about Adrian.

Adrain drew on my notebook.

Both of us called each other lots of colorful words.

It was a fairly normal day.

But it wasn't.

I couldn't help but find myself staring at him for hours.

Something about him madw my stomach feel weird.

There was something unique about his laugh that echoed in the room.

At moments both of us would find ourselves having a stare down in the middle of the class.

His blue eyes seemed to lock me in place, making me forget about everything around me.

I could feel my face getting warmer.

It was too hot today, wasn't it?

I had my chin in the palm of my hands as I looked at Adrian doddling behind his notebook and it was like I wasn't aware of my surroundings.

It was as if in this world there was just me and him and-

SMACK!

I came out of my daydream and looked up to see Mr.Phillips, my Mathematics teacher, staring at me with his hands on his hips and a book tucked under his arm.

I tried my best to not laugh at him as he looked like an obese parrot and his pose made him look even more cartoonish.

"Sophia, can you tell me what homework I gave to the class just now?" He asked me, clearly angry.

I tried to take my bench parters help but Mr. Phillips angry glare stopped me.

"Uh, I- I dont know?" I said.

"I didn't assign any homework till now. If you were actually attentive during class, you would have known it. Now sit down and pay attention." He said and went back to scribbling on the board.

My face was as red as a tomato out of emabarsment as I slowly sat down.

This was all Adrian's fault! He distracted me!

I tried my best to pay attention for the rest of the class and ran out the moment I heard the bell for lunch ring.

Me and Piper met and found a nice tree to sit under and enjoy our lunch.

We were bitching about some students in our classes when I saw Adrian goofing around with his friends.

His blue eyes shining with joy.

His laughter ringing in the garden.

His fluffy hair bouncing.

That weird feeling in my stomach returned and My hand went down to touch it.

"Whats wrong?" Piper asked with a frown on her face, clearly worried.

"Nothing, I have been getting sudden wierd feelings in my stomch since morning." I said

"Is it painful?"

"No, it's not unpleasant. It's just.....wierd." I replied to her question, still staring at him.

Piper soon traced what or rather who I was looking at and smirked.

"Ohhh, I get it now. You are feeling butterflies in your stomach. My bestie is in love." She squealed.

"Shut up." I said before averting my gaze and switching the topic.

I couldn't possibility be feeling butterflies....... Right?

Specially for him.

This entire situation was absurd.

I am sure it was just some stomch sickness.
I hoped it was......
