Amidst his excitement, he couldn't help but notice the worried and pained expressions exchanged between Darius and Raine out of the corner of his eye. The emperor's words echoed through the halls , sending a squirm down Hunter's spine that he repressed before it showed.
He had trained tirelessly for this moment, honing his skills in combat and discipline. Now, as he rose from his bow, he felt a surge of pride and determination. The emperor's gaze, filled with authority and expectation, met his own. Hunter's heart swelled with a newfound sense of purpose. He knew that from this day forward, he would be the revered Golden Guard, an elite warrior tasked with protecting the emperor and upholding the empire's law and order.
As he stood tall, adorned in the regal golden armor of the guard, Hunter's nerves transformed into a steely resolve. From this moment on, he would live and breathe his duty to the emperor, carrying out his every command without hesitation.
As he took the staff that was handed to him the weight of this new life settled upon his shoulders, and he was ready to serve his emperor with unwavering devotion until his last breath.
